3 Married Lesbians Called a "Throuple"

Hey!  If you are a liberal that loved to post the = sign to your Facebook page as proof of your support of homosexual marriage...it's time for you to take out those = signs again!!  This time in support of polygamy!!...or as some call it, "poly-fidelity".

Come on now....don't be an intolerant, polyphobic hater!  Please remember to tell us all how God loves everything!...as long as it is loving!!

Today we find Brynn, Kitten and Doll...three loving lesbians who are all "handfasted" in holy matrimony...just waiting for the Episcopal church to embrace their union!!...and baptize all the babies they plan on having!!

When asked what the benefits are to having three people in a marriage, one of the ladies notes that chores are much easier when distributed among three people. Good point. She went on to say, “poly-fidelity is not something seedy…. it can be a perfectly acceptable choice of life and love.”

The obvious question for the Western Anglican Church is, since blessing same sex married couples is now de rigueur, what possible reason could our trendy bishops have for not blessing - for excluding - committed poly-monogamous threesomes? After all, Jesus said absolutely nothing about poly-fidelity.

The so-called "throuple" worked with a specialist family lawyer who drew up the paperwork and drafted the ceremony so that all three of them are obligated and bound to each other.

While Brynn and Kitten are legally married, Doll is handfasted to both so the threesome are as equally married to each other as legally possible.

One wonders if the Episcopal Church will develop a liturgy for threesomes. Heavens! Why stop at just gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered when there is now a whole new level of poly-fidelity as yet liturgically unexplored? Of course to do so, would confirm that TEC is the church for absolutely all people, loved by a God who clearly endorses threesomes which means all that is left is a Rite to go with it all.

Next up?....Tim, Jim and Frank want to join!!  Then Phil, Ed, Mary and Martha!!  Then Peter, Fido, Spot and Tabitha...why not marry people, cats and dogs...they have had animosity for far too long!  It's the age of Aquarius!!

Sing with me now..."It's about love, love love...it's about love, love, love!  That's what it's all about!  When god loves us, we love each other, mother, mother, mother, brother...everybody sing and shout!...cuz that's what it's all about...it's about love, love, love."

Demons, Aliens and the Rapture

We all know how Satan and Hollywood have been preparing the world to accept the idea that intelligent aliens from other planets and galaxies have been visiting us.

We also know that President Reagan famously announced at a UN meeting decades ago that an alien invasion would certainly help to bring the nations of the world together to fend off the alien attack.

Now, recently, Bill Clinton said the same thing on Jimmy Kimmel's Show.

We have even visited the websites of "aliens" and seen what they are telling their followers, "Don't be surprised if millions of people one day vanish from earth.  Don't be alarmed...we have taken them to reprogram their closed minds so that they can rejoin us in about 7 years and take part in the glorious new world."

You can imagine that LOTS of atheists and liberals would say, "Yea!...those crazy Christians clinging to their Bible and guns...they really did need to have their minds reshaped!  Pass me the bong, bro!"

Today we find other prophecy watchers who are seeing the same things as we are.

“An alien invasion of planet earth would not be surprising, and could unite this increasingly divided world of ours, because the differences among people of Earth would seem small in comparison. An invasion by extraterrestrials might be the best way to unite the fractious countries of our war-wracked planet, if we feel threatened by a space invader. That’s the whole theory of ‘Independence Day’ (the hit 1996 sci-fi disaster movie)…everybody gets together and makes nice”. These recent comments came from no less than a former President of the United States, Bill Clinton, on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.

Back in 1987, President Ronald Reagan reportedly made a similar statement, telling the United Nations General Assembly: “I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside of this world.”

Michael Snyder of the truthwins.com questions if Clinton knows something that the rest of us don’t, and why he is sharing this now. Clinton’s comments were made against a backdrop of “an endless barrage of books, movies, television shows and video games that portray human contact with extraterrestrials”, over recent years, suggesting the possibility that mankind may be getting set up for a great deception of historic proportions.

It would seem that there is a concerted effort being made behind the scenes, to prepare the global populace to not only imagine the possibility of an alien invasion, but to actually expect one. Vatican astronomers have recently been discussing the possibility of contact with “brother extraterrestrial“, and one has even suggested that aliens could “be the Saviors of humankind”.

The truthwins.com  reports that according to a survey conducted by National Geographic, 77 percent of all Americans already believe “there are signs that aliens have visited Earth” (apparently based on the increase in UFO sightings over recent years, as well as the heightened interest in aliens and supernatural beings and events in general). In comparison, only 68 percent of all Americans believe that Jesus is God or the Son of God.

Could it be that Satan and his demons, well aware about the Biblical prophecies of the last days, want to create an explanation for end-time prophecies yet to occur, such as the rapture of the church?

I Thessalonians 4:16-17 says:  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

When this event happens, what better explanation could be offered to an unbelieving world than that an ‘alien abduction’ has taken place? And that the ‘undesirable elements’ of this world have been removed – perhaps to pave the way for a ‘brave new world’ or a ‘new world order’?

When Satan through the AntiChrist, brings out the armies of the world to fight against Jesus Christ, how likely is it that he will say: “Let’s go out and fight against Jesus Christ, Who is God?” Not a chance. More likely he will tell the world: “Your planet is in danger of attack from hostile aliens, and you had better come out and fight to save yourselves and your planet”. Such was the theme of the movie ‘Independence Day’ that Bill Clinton recently made reference to.

The following explanation by mt.net, hits the nail on the head regarding the alien consciousness trends that we are currently seeing: “Currently, the group of beings referred to as "aliens" are portraying themselves as disparate elements of the paranormal. Aliens, walk-ins, ascended masters, the hidden hierarchy, spirit guides, channeled beings and natural forces like Gaia, are all imparting a similar message of impending disaster and a need for all of humanity to unite.

The "aliens" claim to be preparing the earth for a massive evolutionary shift of consciousness, a paradigm shift, while also continuing the education that they maintain is crucial if the human race is to be spared destruction. The nonhuman intelligences are feigning good intentions by warning humans of their potential fate, and the offer to assist humans is all but altruistic in that it is designed to unite mankind under a global authority, with their candidate on the Throne of the World…Non-human intelligences pretending to be "aliens" claim to be the ancient progenitors of the human race. This is the End Time Delusion, which would deceive even the elect, and will lead to the setting up of antichrist on the world throne”.

Friends, when the aliens come with all their lies, deceit and nastiness...they will end up fulfilling so many prophecies.

I hope you read the entire article at the link above as it helps to confirm so much of what we have said over these last 6 years.

Goodbye to the Universe

Have you ever heard it said that while the Bible can't prove itself scientifically...but science has NOT been able to prove anything false in the Bible?

It seems that the farther science digs into the universe and life the MORE complexities that they find!  Many scientists are coming to the conclusion that there is NO WAY that all of these complex life forms and functions of the universe could possibly have 'just happened' because of random chance.  How can ANYTHING dead create ANYTHING living?

I ran across this one article and noticed near the end some very interesting thoughts.

What is the universe made of? The ancient Greeks conceived of the “atom”, the indivisible unit of matter. Today’s physicists talk of smaller particles – quarks and electrons, neutrinos, Higgs Bosons and photons. Understand them – and the forces that hold everything together – and we may finally get a handle on what makes it all tick.

The trouble is, the more we drill down into the subatomic world, the more complexity we find. The bedrock of reality seems as elusive as ever. Perhaps, says a leading theoretical physicist, we do not live in a world of particles and forces at all – but of pure mathematics.

Max Tegmark, professor of physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, claims that at the heart of everything are numbers. On one level this is uncontroversial; the whole point of physics is that we can use mathematics to describe the world around us.

Tegmark’s universe of gyrating numbers, of equations literally coming to life, is one of bizarre possibilities and incomprehensible scale. Perhaps his most shocking argument concerns the role of humans, and consciousness in all this. Far from being insignificant monkeys in an ordinary little planet, we may be, he says, the only things that give the universe its meaning.

Again using mathematics, he argues that ET probably does not exist, at least in the observable part of “our” universe. If it is just us, then this has profound implications Tegmark says: “All those galaxies only became beautiful 400 years ago when someone saw them for the first time. If we humans wipe ourselves out, then the entire universe becomes a huge waste of space.”

One day, he says, if we avoid destroying ourselves, humans will probably colonise the cosmos. And whether we do this will depend, in large part, on the choices we make – decisions about nuclear weapons, climate change and all the existential threats on the horizon. If he is right, we are the meaning of life, the universe and everything, and ours is the most significant century in nearly 14 billion years.

Here;  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/10778507/Max-Tegmark-Its-goodbye-to-the-universe-hello-to-the-multiverse.html

So what if God simply made the world and all we can see JUST FOR HUMAN BENEFIT...so that we can clearly see how awesome God really is?

Is this maybe what the Bible has been saying all along??  That HUMANS are created in the image of God and there ARE NOT thousands of other beings in billions of other galaxies who also EVOLVED out of nothing?

What if Jerusalem and the Holy Land really ARE the center of God's universe?...and all the other billions of galaxies are just there for our recent enjoyment...so that NO MAN WILL HAVE AN EXCUSE as we all marvel at creation?

Interesting thoughts to ponder...no doubt.

Neil Degrasse Tyson

Do you know who Neil is?  If not, you probably should familiarize yourself with his name and face.

He is the host of a new show on the Cosmos.  I believe it may be airing on Fox Network.  He is the latest dude to replace Carl Sagan who did the first big Universe show for PBS back in the 1980's.

Liberals and atheists LOVE this guy!!  I predict he will be the new high priest for those folks who want to shout down God, creation, the Bible and anyone who could be so "stupid" to believe any of it.  According to Neil, the universe started with a bang (made by nobody) and life started (by no design) and then we morphed into humans via evolution!  It's all just so simple!!  Even a moron can see it...unless you are an uber-moron who believes in God....says Neil.

Watch this video here where he mocks God and gives a whole list of why Neil believes that whatever created the Universe isn't really very intelligent at all.

Here;  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Weu7Rh6dYrM

Hey Neil!!  Here is an idea!!  God CREATED the universe simply to SHOW HUMANS the awesomeness of WHO He is!!!!  There doesn't NEED to be any life in the rest of the universe EXCEPT US!!...because WE were created in His image!!

The fact that He SPOKE IT into existence is so amazing that we will likely spend eternity marveling at it.

Hey Neil!  God will not be mocked!  I would suggest you keep your head down and humble yourself a little bit.  Maybe God will have mercy.

1 Kings 21:28-29

28 Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite: 29 “Have you noticed how Ahab has humbled himself before me? Because he has humbled himself, I will not bring this disaster in his day, but I will bring it on his house in the days of his son.”

If you think of it today....maybe say a little prayer for Neil.  His pompous attitude screams, "Pride comes before the fall."

Watch the Hatred Fly

One day in America it may become extremely difficult to say, "I trust in Jesus, I believe the Bible is the Word of God and I also believe this whole world isn't going to come to an end one second before God says so...because He created it all and he will put an end to it all."

I'm beginning to believe that that day is a lot closer than we think.

Look at the man-made Global Warming debate.  This debate is REALLY nasty because the atheists and/or liberals who disagree with you are REALLY MAD that YOU ARE DESTROYING their planet and yet you are so happily clinging to Jesus for eternal life.

They say, "THERE IS NO ETERNAL LIFE!!  THERE IS ONLY THIS LIFE AND YOU ARE KILLING THE WORLD WHICH IS THE ONLY PLACE I CAN LIVE THIS LIFE!!!!"

If you answer their scream with, "I'm sorry you feel that way, but God is who I worship...not the earth.  We worship the Creator not the created things."....you may get them to erupt in anger.

Now, when there are enough of those people...and we are graduating millions of them every year from colleges across the country....you may soon be targeted for hate speech, global warming denial, or you may have your land, liberty and possessions confiscated because you REFUSE to buy into their man-made Global warming/Save the earth mantra.

Below is an article that is talking about Jared Diamond who is the author of GUNS, GERMS AND STEEL.  He clearly believes we descended from chimps and if we don't shape up NOW we are all going to be living in a new stone age by 2114...which is just a hundred years from now.

The article is amazing because it confirms how, "The fool says in his heart, 'there is no God'"...but I'm going to start with the comments that follow the article...and watch the hatred fly when someone dares to question man-made global warming.

First comment;
The Sky Is Falling,... The Sky Is Falling....
Another Chicken Little.....

Response;
When it all falls apart I'm hunting you first.

First Commenter;
I'm betting the only things worried about being hunted by you are the Ho-Hos in your pantry.

Response;
Another fucktarded example of Reichwing projection. The Christofascist demographic scarfs up junk food, gets obese and dies early, after mooching their medical care from the public trough. Those in the center & on the left believe in personal responsibility. They avoid packaged poison, fried foods and moronic teevee. They also get more exercise. Your attenuated intellect only allows for projection of your surroundings. You aren't personally acquainted with anyone other than rural, white, ill-educated, bible-thumping fundamentalist losers. Keep on lashing out. Show us your fear, your pathetic hatred of diversity and your deep insecurities. Those who are better are much amused.

And there you have it.....deny global warming and within seconds you are called a Christofacist and a bible-thumping fundamentalist loser!!...even though Christ and the Bible weren't mentioned ANYWHERE!!

Do you think when the world has enough of these types of people they will be MORE THAN WILLING to put all of us Bible thumpers in jail??

See this whole article here;  http://www.motherjones.com/environment/2014/04/jared-diamond-inquiring-minds-humanity-survival

Remember, Christ clearly told us that the world will HATE US because it hated Him first.

Are we going to escape this planet before we get put in jail by the Global Warming Police??....or might Christ leave us here long enough to see what happens when we are disobedient and adulterous in our relationship with Him?

As you read 1 and 2 Kings you will quickly come to realize that there are SEVERE consequences for those who REFUSE to live by God's standards.  And we KNOW God is never changing.....so even though we are promised to avoid the wrath of God...might we be expected to endure the earthly consequences of our disobedient and adulterous ways?

Of course I don't know the answer....I'm just throwing it out as a question to ponder.

Is the Earth Only 6000 Years Old?

Remember when Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton were both campaigning to win the Democratic ticket to run for President?  Remember how much fun that was to watch them shoot at each other and accuse each other or being liars and worse?

Of course the Republican Presidential hopefuls were doing the same thing...all shooting accusations at each other while the liberals feasted on the details.

That's kind of the same feeling you get when you read this article from the godless atheists reveling in the fight between Pat Robertson, who claims there is NO WAY the earth can be that young....and Ken Ham who asks God to forgive Robertson for being so deceived.

How do we know that Bill Nye won the creationism debate with Ken Ham of Answers in Genesis earlier this month? Simple: The Christian Right is now airing its grievances over the outcome publicly, with one of its top leaders saying the debate made Christians look completely out of touch.

Via Right Wing Watch, here's a video from last week of televangelist Pat Robertson blasting the idea that the Earth is only about 6,000 years old, as Young Earth creationists like Ham assert. "There 'aint no way that's possible," explains Robertson, noting that anyone working in the oil industry can see as much as they drill through layer after geological layer to extract ancient hydrocarbons. "You can't just totally deny the geological formations that are out there," Robertson continued. "Let's be real. Let's not make a joke of ourselves."

But that's just the beginning: Ham then responded to Robertson and raised the stakes further on Facebook. "Pat Robertson is so misinformed and deceived," Ham lamented. "Sad that so many will believe him." Ham later continued:

Oh, that God would convict and open the eyes of Christian leaders and Christian college and seminary professors, so many of whom are as uninformed and deceived as Pat Robertson. God have mercy.

The truth is that Ham did make a joke of himself, actually arguing at one point that lions were vegetarians before Noah's Flood. Such are the intellectual contortions required of Young Earth creationists who seriously want to insist, against not just biological but also geological and physical evidence, on an Earth that is younger than its oldest living tree.

Robertson, meanwhile, is no paragon of rationality: This is the same guy who asserted, in response to Walt Disney World's "Gay Days," that "I don't think I'd be waving those flags in God's face if I were you ... It'll bring about terrorist bombs; it'll bring earthquakes, tornadoes, and possibly a meteor." And yet here, he comes off as the voice of moderation. Indeed, Robertson even seems to embrace a form of theistic or "progressive" evolution that is not necessarily incompatible with scientific understanding.

This suggests that, if nothing else, the creationism debate was highly disruptive of the evolution-creationism status quo. Just maybe, there will be enough upheaval on the Christian right to trigger a serious reconsideration of their attacks on science education across the country. (Wishful thinking, we know.)

Here;  http://www.motherjones.com/blue-marble/2014/02/pat-robertson-ken-ham-dinosaurs

Is this a spiritual battle??  OF COURSE IT IS!!!

Does Satan LOVE IT when Christians shoot at each other so he can re-play the carnage all over the liberal media and hope to discredit all people who claim Christ as savior??

OF COURSE HE DOES!

So what are we supposed to do?

There are some awesome God-fearing, Bible believing Christians who know that God made the universe...and they don't CARE whether it was 6000 or 6 billion years ago...and are content to leave that up to God and figure He will explain it all when we get to heaven.

And then there are some awesome God-fearing, Bible believing Christians who say that the earth is only around 6000 years old and Noah's flood happened about 4000 years ago....and the atheists of the world have hidden the evidence of a young earth and have now brainwashed all our school kids to reject the Bible and start down the path toward unbelief.

So why can't these folks co-exist?

Simple, because you can't have it both ways.  If you want to dismiss the story of Noah's ark as a fairy tale...then you are calling into question the honesty of Jesus Christ...because Jesus spoke of Noah and the flood.

Luke 17:27
People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.

And of course if you are one willing to say that Jesus never said that...then you are taking away the TRUTH OF SCRIPTURE and you may as well throw it all out.

And of course if you are saying that Jesus was mistaken about Noah and a flood....then Jesus wasn't really the perfect, spotless lamb and his death on the cross is all tainted.

So you see, it really is kind of a big deal.

What do you think??  What should Ken Ham and Pat Robertson do?  Pat thinks Ken is making us all look like fools...and Ken thinks Pat is making us all look like fools.

Are we all fools?

Please share your comments with me so I can post them for all to see.

Thanks!

EMP's In the News Again

An Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) from either a nuclear explosion or a solar storm, are in the headlines again.

This one from Fox News;

Experts warn civilian world not ready for massive EMP-caused blackout

The catastrophic effects of an electromagnetic pulse-caused blackout could be preventable, but experts warn the civilian world is still not ready.

Peter Vincent Pry, executive director of the Task Force on National and Homeland Security and director of the U.S. Nuclear Strategy Forum, both congressional advisory boards, said the technology to avoid disaster from electromagnetic pulses exists, and upgrading the nation's electrical grid is financially viable.

"The problem is not the technology," Pry said. "We know how to protect against it. It's not the money, it doesn't cost that much. The problem is the politics. It always seems to be the politics that gets in the way."

He said the more officials plan, the lower the estimated cost gets.

"If you do a smart plan - the Congressional EMP Commission estimated that you could protect the whole country for about $2 billion," Pry told Watchdog.org. "That's what we give away in foreign aid to Pakistan every year."

In the first few minutes of an EMP, nearly half a million people would die. That's the worst-case scenario that author William R. Forstchen estimated in 2011 would be the result of an EMP on the electric grid - whether by an act of God, or a nuclear missile detonating in Earth's upper atmosphere.

An electromagnetic pulse is a burst of electromagnetic energy strong enough to disable, and even destroy, nearby electronic devices.

See it Here;  http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/04/21/experts-warn-civilian-world-not-ready-for-massive-emp-caused-blackout/

And then check out this one;

North Korea EMP attack could destroy U.S. -RIGHT NOW

North Korea now has an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capable of delivering a nuclear weapon to the United States, as demonstrated by their successful launch and orbiting of a satellite on Dec. 12, the Washington Times reports.

In fact, the Times report says, “North Korea is a mortal nuclear threat to the United States – right now.”

t’s not just the threat of conventional nuclear attack that has experts worried. Nor is the North Korea invasion scenario in the new remake of “Red Dawn” a realistic risk.

The real concern is that North Korea now has miniaturized nuclear weapons for ballistic missile delivery and armed missiles with nuclear warheads that could destroy the U.S. in a single blow with an EMP attack that would send the U.S. back to 19th century technology a la the NBC TV show “Revolution.”

And North Korea is hardly the only threat to destroy what some other nations and rogue players call “the Great Satan.”

Imagine if all the lights in America went off – never to come back on again.

Imagine if all the computers in America got fried – never to come back on again.

Imagine if all the cars in America dependent on fancy circuitry wouldn’t start – ever again.

Imagine if the grocery stores and the gas stations had to close up – for good.

Here;  http://www.prepperfortress.com/north-korea-emp-attack-could-destroy-u-s-right-now/

Yes!...just imagine that!!  All of our false idols run by electricity would be silenced in the twinkling of an eye!!  No computers, no cars, no shopping, no cell phones....Holy lights out!!!

Then every day that we would wake up would be a blessing from God....and every thing we found to eat would be a blessing from God....and every day we stayed alive would be a blessing from God...and we would probably NEVER take anything for granted again!!  Maybe we would all start reading our Bibles as we look to God for our every need!!  Maybe we would contemplate our imminent deaths much more and ask Jesus for salvation if we were to die that day??

So with that as a back drop.....would the destruction of America by an EMP be a BLESSING for the souls residing in America who survived an EMP....or a curse??

Hat tip to Mick L.

Blood Moon Looniness

Did anyone stay up to watch the first blood moon last Monday night-Tuesday morning?  I did.  It was pretty cool to watch it start to go dark, then get totally dark, then turn red.  I must admit I was hoping for a darker-red color...or maybe some dripping red stuff...but it was impressive all the same!

No doubt it is awe inspiring to look at these heavenly bodies and to have them all come into alignment and create such a view.  And then to contemplate God who spoke these things all into motion and set them on their paths with such precision!!  Surely we worship an awesome God!!

So do I think something big is going to happen on earth and that the 4 blood moons all falling on Jewish feast days is a warning?

Let me repeat....I HAVE NO IDEA!!

Of course if the Rapture happens soon (which wouldn't surprise a lot of us) then, from the safety of heaven we could say, "Wow!!  That was cool!  The blood moons WERE a warning of the coming Tribulation...and those who were paying attention were even LESS surprised when the trumpet blew announcing the bridegroom coming to gather His bride!  Very cool!"

What I do know is that the "Christian" community has a pretty bad record of predicting that things are going to happen WHEN they say they are going to happen.  You can decide for yourselves why I chose to put "Christian" in quotation marks.

I would say that John Hagee went TOO FAR OUT ON A LIMB in telling us, via a best selling book and numerous radio and TV interviews, that doom and gloom was coming to change the world and that these 4 blood moons are a harbinger of it.

Also, please note that I have said that it seems strange for these 4 blood moons to be a warning to Israel WHEN THEY CAN'T EVEN SEE THEM!!  Of course WE can see them all in North America...so could it mean something for us??

I don't know and NO ONE DOES!  Just stay sober and awake because all the OTHER signs happening all at once would suggest that something big is going on...as it was in the days of Noah.

Today, Rapture Ready has a short article on what he thinks is "looniness" that surrounds the blood moons phenomenon.

The Blood Moon Prophecy has become all the rage amongst prophecy watchers. This view was largely started in 2008 by Mark Biltz, founder of El Shaddai Ministries. Biltz used calculations based on lunar cycles to determine that a tetrad (a series four lunar eclipses) will lead to the Second Coming occurring in the fall of 2015.

Pastor John Hagee has done the most to popularize the Blood Moon Prophecy. His latest book, Four Blood Moons: Something Is About to Change, has reached the top ten of the New York time bestselling list. In his book, Hagee lays out what he calls “celestial signals.” He describes how this series of blood moons will have great significance for Israel. Hagee recently told CBN News:

There’s a sense in the world that things are changing and God is trying to communicate with us in a supernatural way, I believe that in these next two years, we’re going to see something dramatic happen in the Middle East involving Israel that will change the course of history in the Middle East and impact the whole world.

We just had the first of these lunar eclipses uneventfully occur on April 15th. The next one is due October 8, followed by blood moons on April 4, 2015 and September 28, 2015. What makes this tetrad special is that each eclipse takes place on a Jewish feast day.

Although single blood moons happen regularly, four appearing within a two-year-period is fairly rare. Over the past 5,000 years, 142 of these tetrads have occurred. The frequency of tetrads can vary over time. For instance, there were no tetrads from 1582 to 1908, but from 1909 to 2156 there will be 17. The next tetrad will take place in 2032 and 2033. The one after that is slated for 2043 and 2044.

One problem with the current tetrad is that visibility is only possible for someone living in the United States. Since the focus of prophecy is on Israel, the lack of visibility in the Jewish State would seem to cast doubt on the significance of the blood moons.

The background of Mark Biltz is another area of concern. He comes from the Hebrew Roots Movement, which has Sabath worship as manditory, and says Jesus was the Messiah; but He wasn’t God. He is also deeply involved with Jewish mysticism, called Kabbalah. The Kabbalah states that the full meaning of the Bible is never on the surface. Rather, one must search below the surface text, using Kabbalah techniques, to find the true and full meaning. [1]

I’ve been around long enough to know that if people are wrong about the core salvation message, the rest of their doctrine is likely to be full of errors.

The Bible does talk about the moon turning to blood:

“I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood” (Revelation 6:12).

This blood moon passage is referencing some events that will take place during the Tribulation. It could be the result of a meteorite impact, volcanic eruption, nuclear war, or possibly some supernatural occurrence. A key point to note is that this event will also affect the sun. Since a lunar eclipse wouldn’t be possible if the sun didn’t maintain its normal brightness, I don’t see how it could be connected to this particular prophecy.

I don’t have a problem with John Hagee linking the blood moons in a general way to Luke 21: 25: “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars...” But I fail to see how these lunar events will guarantee something dramatic will happen with Israel.

Just two years ago people were cheering about the now defunct Mayan Calendar prophecy.

As fast as events are evolving down here on earth, I don’t see the need to get our prophetic motivation from star gazing. Only the Lord knows if we will even be around to see the last of these lunar eclipses play out.

“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36).
