Jews Believe Messiah is Coming

 Remember that Jews aren’t watching for Jesus to return.  They rejected him the first time so in their eyes Messiah has yet to come.  But they believe that a messiah is soon coming and the fall of Syria gives them even more reason to believe.

Those Jews who don’t accept Christ before the rapture will be left behind and will accept some type of false messiah, probably the Antichrist.

Profound Prophetic Pronouncement

Why has Jew hatred exploded around the world even though it was the demon-possessed Muslims of Hamas that started the war by butchering and raping Jews in Israel?  Because we are at the end of the Age of Grace and God is calling the Jews from all lands back to the Promised Land so the story can finish.

 Prophetic stage-setting continues at a torrid pace. No signal of the nearness of the Tribulation (Daniel’s seventieth week) is more observable than the dynamics revolving around the nation Israel.

Anti-Semitism is coming to a boiling point again like in the times of Nazi Germany, beginning with Hitler’s persecution of the Jewish race. America’s universities are at the center of the rise in hatred for the Jews.

We witnessed the October 7, 2023, evil perpetrated against the gathering of young people celebrating in Israel’s southern region. The evil was as heinous as one could imagine even in thinking about times when the Nazi regime was mass murdering God’s chosen people.

It doubtless took satanically engendered rage to do the things the Hamas beasts filmed themselves doing that day.

Yet the world didn’t turn against Hamas and the other terrorist organizations that cheered those wicked ones on. Rather, the hellish activity quickly spread like an infection, bringing about anti-Semitism to the supposed rational Western world. The malicious evil went viral and had college students joining protests against Israel for fighting back against the Hamas murderers, baby killers, and rapists.

Why is this happening? That’s the question of many—not only Jews but Christians and all sane-thinking people as well. Why is God allowing this evil to raise its wicked, satanic head?

The answer, I believe, is found within the following:

“We are telling our Jewish brothers and sisters that Israel is your home… We are bracing ourselves and calling for a mass immigration from Europe,” announced Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu. And they were not just words – a while ago, the Cabinet approved a ₪180 million ($46 million) plan to finance the absorption costs of thousands of potential new immigrants, following numerous anti-Semitic attacks, along with political and economic troubles in the Ukraine, France and Belgium.

Netanyahu broadcasted his message via social media; “I would like to say to all of Europe’s Jews, and Jews everywhere, Israel is the home of every Jew.”

Not everyone is impressed with these remarks – European leaders insist that they can protect their Jewish communities, and many Jewish people just don’t want to leave. But many others are packing their bags nonetheless, feeling they have no choice…

“They shall come trembling from the West…”

“Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when it shall no longer be said, ‘As the Lord lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’ but ‘As the Lord lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the north country and out of all the countries where he had driven them’” (Jeremiah 16:14).

The miracles of God’s promises to Israel continue to unfold: the good, the bad, and the ugly. In very many places, the Scriptures prepare us for the fact that God was planning to bring His people back to His land by hook or by crook. With anti-Semitism spiraling out of all control around the world, many Jewish people are now deciding that they would be safer in war-torn Israel under the protection of the IDF than they are in Europe, and are escaping while they still can. And now the most religious of the Jewish community in Jerusalem are calling officially for all Jews to return “home.”

The nascent Sanhedrin in Jerusalem has made an official ruling, calling on Jews outside of Israel to come home.

“We are the beis din (rabbinic court) of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), and we have poskened (officially ruled) that all Jews around the world have an obligation and chiyuv (religious requirement) right now to do whatever is in your power, to come to Eretz Yisrael (the land of Israel), and that is the mitzvah of Torah (Biblical requirement). And that is the mitzvah of today, especially because of what’s happening around the world and the dangers that all the Jews are in around the world. It’s necessary now more than ever to come to Eretz Yisrael, and we as a beis din have poskened that all the Jews have to come as soon as they can back to eretz Yisrael.”

To those who “watch” as commanded by Jesus (Mark 13: 37; Luke 21: 28):

God’s feathering of His chosen people in order to begin the process of bringing a remnant out of the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30: 7) becomes more obvious with every passing hour. This means, of course, that the Rapture, which must take place before the Lord’s final dealing with Israel in this way, must be even at the door, as Jesus put it.

You want to be a part of Christ’s call in that glorious event, not left behind to go through what Jesus said will be the worst time of all human history.

Here is how to go to the Lord when He steps upon the clouds of Glory and calls all believers to Himself.

“That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

Israel Preparing Attack on Iran's Nuclear Facilities

 We're sure that Israel has always been making plans to attack Iran.  Who wouldn't when Iran screams daily about it's desire for "death to Israel!", while spinning plans to have a nuclear bomb?

So today we read more about it.

The Israeli Air Force is preparing to strike Iran's nuclear facilities after disabling Syria's air defense systems, The Times of Israel informs.

According to reports, the Israeli Defense Forces believe that after the weakening of Iranian proxy groups in the Middle East and the dramatic collapse of Bashar al-Assad's regime in Syria, there is now an opportunity to strike Iran's nuclear facilities.

As a result, the Israeli Air Force continues to ramp up preparations for potential strikes on such targets.

It is noted that over 85% of Syria's air defense systems were destroyed during recent strikes, giving Israeli aircraft and drones complete air superiority.

The Israeli military also believes that with Iran isolated following Assad's regime collapse and the weakening of its main proxy group, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Iran may continue its nuclear program and develop a bomb, attempting to replace its nuclear deterrence.

Israel is preparing a response to Iran's attack

On October 1, Iran launched approximately 200 ballistic missiles at Israel, but the attack was ineffective.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to retaliate for this attack and does not rule out strikes on Iran's oil fields and even nuclear facilities.

Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden is trying to persuade Israel to refrain from such actions in order to avoid escalation.

At the same time, according to an Israeli journalist, future US President Donald Trump may have his own interest in encouraging Israel to deliver a devastating blow to Iran.

Now would be the time!  Iran has been kicked in the teeth with the destruction of Hezbollah and Syrian forces upheld, funded and armed by Iran.  They are kicked down so why not finish the job?

Continue to pray for the Iranian people because they don't like their militant leaders and most would probably love to see them taken out.

Every day the Middle East seems to be setting up for something really big.

Check Out These Minneapolis Idiots in Palestinian Scarfs

 It can be embarrassing to tell other Conservatives outside Minnesota that, “I’m from Minnesota.”  They know that Minnesota is famous for its Blue, progressive politics and for electing a Muslim woman to Congress.  We also have a very large population of Muslims in Minneapolis in an area that some call “Little Mogadishu”.

So of course the Minneapolis City Council is far, far, left.  The more bizarre, trans, queer, non-binary, gay or lesbian you are, the better chance you have for being elected. Cisgender white men can stay away!

So of course that same city council wanted to show solidarity with college students who damaged the U of M during pro-Palestinian protests.  But sanity took over in a small way and they didn’t have enough votes to pardon the vandals.

Where were these college kids on October 8, 2023 when the Palestinians went into Israel and murdered and raped 1200 Jews?  Where were the protests then?

The Minneapolis City Council was unable to muster enough votes Thursday to override Mayor Jacob Frey’s veto of its resolution urging authorities to back off of discipline and charges against people involved in an Oct. 21 protest at the University of Minnesota opposing the Israel-Hamas war.

Nine votes were needed to override Frey’s veto, but the vote was 7-6 in favor — not enough to overturn the resolution, which expressed solidarity with “nonviolent campus activism opposing war and supporting Palestinian human rights.”

The university has disputed that the protest at Morrill Hall was nonviolent, saying protesters spray-painted security cameras, broke interior windows and barricaded exits, trapping staffers for “an extended period of time.” University police and Hennepin County sheriff’s deputies arrested 11 protesters.

The university said the protesters caused over $67,000 in damage to doorways, walls and flooring; violated multiple university polices; and caused emotional harm to employees as they piled up furniture and copy machines to prevent workers from leaving.

 Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei spoke to a crowd of thousands at the Imam Khomeini Husseiniya in the capital Tehran on Wednesday morning, stating that the fall of the Assad regime in Syria was the result of a “joint American-Zionist plot.” 

“There should be no doubt that what has happened in Syria is the result of a joint American and Zionist plan,” Khamenei told those gathered for his speech. 

Khamenei also criticized Turkey for its role in the collapse of the Assad regime, but the Iranian leader did so without explicitly mentioning the country by name before resuming his accusations against Israel and the United States. 

“Yes, a neighboring state to Syria has played a clear role in this matter and has been playing that role, and continues to do so now – this is something everyone can see,” Khamenei remarked. “But the main plotter, the mastermind, and the command center for this scheme are in the United States and the Zionist regime. We have evidence, and this evidence leaves no room for doubt.” 

The Iranian religious leader also sought to assure his listeners that the recent setbacks in the region did not weaken the country. 

“The ignorant analyst, who has no understanding of the meaning of resistance, believes that when the resistance weakens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will weaken as well,” he stated. “I tell you, by God's will, Iran is strong, powerful, and it will become even stronger.” 

Khamenei stated that American interests in the region would be thwarted. 

“The United States is trying to cement its foothold in the region. These are their objectives, and time will show, God willing, that none of them will achieve these goals,” he claimed. “By God's will and divine power, the United States will also be expelled from the region by the resistance front.” 

Khamenei’s comments appear to be aimed at quelling the growing internal backbiting and accusations that were reported by several sources over the past few days. 

Reports out of Iran on Sunday and Monday indicated that various government officials have been engaged in a round of finger-pointing, each trying to blame the other for the sudden collapse of Iran’s primary ally in the region. 

Ayatollah Khamenei even claimed that Hezbollah had inflicted such a “severe blow” that, after the assassination of Secretary-General Hassan NasrallahIsrael was “forced to accept the ceasefire.” 

Khamenei's reluctance to criticize Turkey by name is noteworthy, suggesting that Iranian leaders still prioritize their developing relationship with Turkey despite the significant loss of their ally, deposed Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Turkey has been pursuing closer relations with both Iran and Russia over the last few years, which many Bible scholars consider to be a prophetically significant development related to the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38. 

Turkey has called for an alliance of the three countries to prevent Israel from threatening “Syria’s territorial integrity.” 

Khamenei’s reserved remarks appear to be aimed at preserving this developing alliance.

What to Make of White Evangelicals?

 We ran across this interesting article written by a Dartmouth professor and published in the LA Times.  It was then posted to MSN where we saw it.

The article may have been brought to the front of things because of the recent death of Hal Lindsey at age 95.  He was the author of a best-selling book called THE LATE, GREAT PLANET EARTH and sold millions of copies in the 1970's.  This coincided with the Jesus Revolution that swept the USA and led to a huge revival.  If you haven't seen the movie THE JESUS REVOLUTION, you should.

The article seems to make fun of many Christian things and yes, we agree, there are many funny things you can make fun of about people who call themselves Christians.  Remember, not all people who call themselves "Christians" are actually followers of Christ who have surrendered and been filled with the Holy Spirit.  Apostle Paul judged many of these folks and had some very harsh words for those who would follow another gospel rather than the one he was preaching.

For many years in America, many Christians thought there job was to make heaven on earth.  Heal society and make the world a great place!  When this happened and the world was nice enough, Christ would return!

Most of us now have a very different idea about this.  We think the world is going to get worse and worse with wars and rumors of war, lovers of self, lovers of violence, ignorant of the Word of God, rejection of Jesus and living in full rebellion towards the Creator.  100 years ago most Christians had NO CLUE that the State of Israel was going to be resurrected from a pile of bones so they simply could not believe God's Word when he said I WILL RESTORE ISRAEL IN THE LAST DAYS.  For many Christians this led them down the road of replacement theology...the belief that God is done with Israel and any promises He had made for them has now transferred to The Church.

So read this article and see if you can spot all the problems that you and I have with it.

The death of Hal Lindsey on Nov. 25 symbolically brings to a close a chapter of evangelical theology that was popular for more than a century and has had an outsize effect on American politics.

Born in Texas, Lindsey graduated from the University of Houston and then from Dallas Theological Seminary, with a master’s degree in theology. He worked for Campus Crusade for Christ in Southern California and then, cribbing from his seminary notes, wrote what became one of the bestselling nonfiction books of the 1970s, "The Late Great Planet Earth." (Whether the book qualifies as nonfiction is a conversation for another day.)

Lindsey’s book popularized an approach to biblical interpretation called premillennialism, which posits that the world as we know it will come imminently to an end, as predicted in both the Book of Daniel in the Hebrew Bible and in the Book of Revelation at the end of the New Testament.

Christians through the centuries have tried to make sense of these prophetic writings, especially Revelation with its filigreed imagery of multiheaded dragons and vials of judgment, the antichrist and the numerals 666. A key bone of contention is whether Jesus will return to Earth before (premillennialism) or after (postmillennialism) the 1,000 years of righteousness predicted in Revelation 20.

The difference might be dismissed as theological nitpicking, the equivalent of counting the number of angels that can dance on the head of a pin. But evangelical understandings of premillennialism and postmillennialism have had a profound effect on American history.

In the early decades of the 19th century, evangelicals by and large were postmillennialists — that is, they believed that Jesus would return after the faithful had reformed society according to the norms of godliness. This doctrine in turn animated a variety of social reforms — peace crusades, public schooling (called common schools in the 1800s), prison reform, women’s equality, opposition to slavery (in the North) — all aimed at bringing about the kingdom of God on Earth, and more particularly in America. The Rev. Charles Grandison Finney, the most influential evangelical — a Presbyterian, by the way — of the era excoriated free-market capitalism because commerce elevated avarice over altruism.

By the late 1800s, however, evangelicals were becoming disillusioned. The carnage of Civil War battlefields and the squalid tenements in Lower Manhattan, teeming with labor unrest, hardly resembled the precincts of Zion that evangelicals had so confidently predicted earlier in the century.

To the rescue came a theologian from Britain, John Nelson Darby. He told American evangelicals that they had it all wrong. Jesus would return before not after Revelation's thousand-year utopia kicked in.

As Darby’s interpretation became popular, American evangelicals’ attitudes toward society changed radically. They had been activists trying to reform society, to make the world a better place. But if Jesus was going to return at any moment, why bother? This world was doomed and transitory, they believed, so why worry about social amelioration?

Theologically, the emphasis shifted from social reform to an individual reckoning — accepting Jesus as your personal savior. Premillennialism stoked political apathy; it absolved evangelical Christians of the task of social reform.

In many ways, Lindsey’s “Late Great” book represented the culmination of that sentiment. The churches and believers considered to be evangelical lost a fixation on the Sermon on the Mount (“blessed are the peacemakers”) and Matthew 25 (care for “the least of these”), and gained one on salvation and prophecy, especially the ways Israel figured into that prophecy.

I'll point out the straw man of John Darby and how this article also introduced him as someone to knock down.  "To the rescue came John Darby."

John Darby didn't invent the rapture and the premillennial view of scripture.  It was there all the time!  He maybe just helped Bible readers get BACK ON THE TRACK that Apostle Paul and John the Revelator were on from the very beginning.  

So don't let one of your Christian friends knock you down with, "The rapture was never heard of until the 1800's when Darby invented it!"

That's a lie and it's very easy to prove that it is.

Concern Grows Over Video of Syrian Rebels Saying They Will March to Jerusalem

  I know we've been blogging a lot on Syria, but I think it's a much bigger deal that most of us can even imagine.  Prophetically, it's like BOOM!  One day we wake up and see that the Assad government has collapsed, Assad then flew to Russia, Iran isn't doing anything to stop the rebels, Israel took more territory from Syria and destroyed the Syrian navy and much of its air force.

One of the early articles we read interviewed the rebel leader and he said they want to get along with everyone, even Israel.  He also said he would welcome Israel's help in trying to kick the Iranian military assets out of the country.

Whoa!

Remember, these are Sunni Muslim fighters so can't stand the Shiite Islamists from Iran and Hezbollah and Yemen...but as a rule they hate Jews and Christians too.

So today we read this and understand why Israel is using this window to destroy all sorts of military and chemical stuff in Syria.

While the development ended Syria’s civil war that has left over 580,000 dead, it left everyone wondering who will take over the country and what it will mean for Israel. While Syria has been openly hostile to Israel since before it declared statehood in 1948, some wondered whether the Middle East axiom claiming “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” might apply to the rebel groups taking control of Israel’s northeastern border. 

Concern rose after a video was posted to Twitter showing the rebels vowing to march on Jerusalem.

“This is the land of Islam, this is Damascus, the Muslim stronghold. From here to Jerusalem. We’re coming for Jerusalem. Patience, people of Gaza, patience,” shouted an Islamist rebel spokesman surrounded by a group of gunmen who responded with cries of “Allahu akbar! (“Allah is greater” in Arabic).

It is unclear which group is seen in the video. Israel365 News turned to Dr. Mordechai Kedar to explain the situation in Syria. Dr. Kedar is a senior lecturer at Bar-Ilan University and the vice president of NEWSRAEL. He served for 25 years in the IDF military intelligence, specializing in Syria, Arab political discourse, Arab mass media, Islamic groups, and Israeli Arabs. He is an expert on the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist groups. He is fluent in Hebrew, Arabic, and English and has debated Muslims on Arab media in Arabic. 

“Assad was not religious and was not even a Muslim. The opposition, Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), is strongly Sunni,” Dr. Kedar explained. “They don’t care so much about Jerusalem, per se. Sunni sanctifies Jerusalem because it is a competition to Mecca. Within Islam, Jerusalem is a struggle for dominance between Sunni and Shia. The regime oppressed the Sunni rebels in Syria because even though Assad was not Muslim, he was supported by Shia Iran.”

Dr. Kedar cautioned against trying to simplify the situation by thinking of it in political terms.

“You have to stop thinking like an American; in the Middle East, everything is connected to religion,” Dr. Kedar said. “The Muslims never heard about separating church and state. For these rebels in Syria, they are like al Qaeda and ISIS, who want to cleanse the whole world of any other religion. They don’t care about Jerusalem right now. They just want to get rid of the state of Israel because we are a powerful Jewish state that challenges their dominance. But they are saying it in a religious way.”

“They are against anything that is not Muslim and, more specifically, anything that is not Sunni. The name Hayʼat Tahrir al-Sham means the liberation of all of Western Asia. This includes Lebanon, Israel, and the western part of Jordan. They also intend to liberate ‘Palestine’ from the Jewish ‘Occupation.’”

Dr. Kedar emphasized that the removal of Assad from Syria was good for Israel. 

“This is another big step in breaking the backbone of Iranian octopus. We are chopping its tentacles one at a time. Hamas and Hezbollah are effectively defeated. All that remains is the Iraqi and Yemenite tentacles. We will also have to deal with the head of the octopus in Iran.’

“In the short term, what Israel is doing now is dealing with a tactical threat by getting rid of what remains of Assad’s airforce and weapons. And, of course, the chemical weapons. If the Islamists in Syria decide to come against Jerusalem, as they threatened, it will be with old AK-47s and RPGs but not with anything that is a real threat to Israel.”

“The strategic threat is still Iran with its ICBMs and nuclear weapons, which they are pushing to produce. If I had to choose between the Jihadi threat posed by the rebels or the strategic threat posed by Assad and Iran, there is no question that we prefer the Jihad rebels with the AKs.”

Israel365 News asked about the fate of the Christians and other ethnic minorities in Syria. Dr. Kedar is a recognized expert, so it was deeply concerning that he admitted that the future of Syria is unclear in this regard.

“Assad persecuted the Islamists,” Dr. Kedar said. “So under Assad, it might have been said that the Christians, Druze, Alawi, and Kurds felt secure, or, at least, no more persecuted than anyone else. Now that the Jihadists are in power, this is a big question. Will the Jihads treat them as ISIS did, or will the rebels act like a normal government that tries to unite its people? I really have no idea what direction the new rulers will take.”

“It could be that the leader, Abu Mohammad al-Julan, understands that he needs an inclusive and pluralistic agenda to succeed. He seems to be saying the right things, but knowing if this is serious is impossible. Even if he wants to be inclusive, this means including the groups that do not want to be inclusive, dogmatic groups. He will have to figure out how to deal with them. Either he will have to eliminate them, or he will have to join them.”

“The problem is that foreign policy must be built on solid ground, and there is no solid ground here. Therefore, Israel must take the military actions it is taking now. In case Syria takes the wrong direction, Israel has to know that it will not be facing tanks and fighter planes or, God forbid, chemical weapons.”

Yes, the rebel leader might be saying the right things now, but it's IMPOSSIBLE to know if he is serious about what he's saying or if he just needs to lie to get the things he wants.

Just one other thought, this could end up being a huge move in the direction of safety and peace.  "While they are saying, 'peace and safety', destruction will come upon them suddenly."

Unexplained Drones Over New Jersey and New York

 Strange things are happening in the sky over New Jersey and New York and high-level people are asking for an explanation.

New Jersey Republican state Sen. Jon Bramnick called for a “limited state of emergency banning all drones” in response to sightings of mysterious unidentified drones.

“The State of New Jersey should issue a limited state of emergency banning all drones until the public receives an explanation regarding these multiple sightings,” Bramnick wrote in a post on X.

As Breitbart News’s Lucas Nolan previously reported, people in New Jersey have spotted the mysterious drones since mid-November, with people in Staten Island, New York, now reporting sightings of “bright-light-bearing drones hovering over the island”:

The New York Post reports that the strange drone phenomenon, which has caught the attention of New Jersey residents since November 18, has now expanded its reach to Staten Island, New York. Eyewitnesses have reported spotting bright-light-bearing drones hovering over the island on Thursday night, according to the Staten Island Advance.

Other New Jersey lawmakers such as Rep. Thomas Kean Jr. (R-NJ) and more than 20 mayors representing towns throughout the state have also called for action to be taken over the mysterious drone sightings.

“I join thousands of New Jersey residents in deep frustration regarding the growing concerns over drones operating in our skies,” Kean wrote in a post on X. “The safety and privacy of our residents must be a top priority, and right now, both are being put at risk.”

“I am calling for the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Aviation Administration, and other appropriate federal agencies to deploy greater resources to investigate and address this escalating issue,” Kean continued. “Additionally, an in-depth public briefing from authorities should take place immediately.”

So who is watching?   Why are they watching?  What do they want?  Who should stop them?  How much technology is out there working that we have no idea about?

Religious Jews Believe Fall of Assad May be Another Sign of Messiah

 We know that most Jews have not accepted Jesus as their messiah.  Religious Jews are still watching for the Messiah to show up.  We also know that most Jews will fall for the antichrist when he shows up and offers to confirm a peace agreement.  So while many Christians are watching for the RETURN of King Jesus, Jews are still watching for the signs that point to the coming of their messiah...and he will be a false messiah.  This very possibly will happen following the rapture.  So when we see what the Jews are talking about and it includes Temples, red heifers and messiah it should be one other sign of the nearness to the End of the Age.  Come Lord Jesus!

On Sunday, it was reported that Bashar al-Assad fled Syria as rebel forces swiftly overtook Damascus. As the dust settles, the geopolitical repercussions will echo far beyond Syria’s borders, particularly for Israel, which has closely monitored developments in the Golan Heights and the broader Syrian conflict.

But Bible believers understand that the fall of Syria has dire prophetic implications. Shimon Tubul, the Deputy Mayor of Beer Sheva, appeared on Channel 14 News. Tubul, a religious Jew who serves in the Givati Brigade of the IDF, described the connection between the Messiah and the fall of Assad. He cited a story in the Otzar HaMidrashim, a collection of midrashic literature, that told how Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the founder of Jewish mysticism, also known by the acronym ‘Rashbi,’ described his encounter with an angel while he was in a cave. 

“This will be for you a sign,” the angel told the Rashbi. “When you see that the Nero of the East in Damascus has fallen, then the kingdom of the East will have fallen and the redemption in Israel will flourish and the Messiah from the House of David will arrive.”

“Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai said this 2,000 years ago,” Tubul said. “Who knows? Maybe this is the time of redemption.”

To further emphasize Assad’s connection to the Nero of the East that will bring Moshiach Ben David, his name (בַּשַׁאר אַסַאד) in gematria (Hebrew numerology) equals to נִרוֹן מִזְרָחִי (Nero of the East).

Indeed, a political cartoon that was widely circulated in Arab media in 2012 portrayed Asad as Nero, fiddling while Syria burned. The rule of the original Nero, an emperor of ancient Rome, is associated with tyranny, extravagance, cruelty, and madness.  

This parallel was also noted by Rabbi Yekutiel Fish, known in Israel as the author of the Torah blog “Sod Ha’Chashmal.” 

“Jeremiah predicted a fire in the fortresses of Damascus that will presage Messiah,” Rabbi Fish told Israel365 News.

I will set fire to the wall of Damascus, And it shall consume the fortresses of Ben-hadad. Jeremiah 48:27

“Ben-hadad in gematria equals 65, the same as ‘Assad,’” Rabbi Fish said. “This recent upheaval in Syria conforms to the prophet’s description.”

Rabbi Fish cited the Midrash, claiming that Assad has an integral role to play in the flourishing of Moshiach Ben David (Messiah, son of David). This refers to the second half of the Messianic process which includes the return of the Davidic Dynasty and the building of the Third Temple.

“Though the Arabs certainly did not intend a reference to the Midrash, Assad is referred to in the Arab world as the ‘Nero of the East,” Rabbi Fish explained, noting the gematria that links Nero of the East to Bashar al-Assad.

“There is an additional hint that the fall of Damascus is linked to the building of the Mikdash (Temple),” Rabbi Fish said. “The Hebrew letters used to spell Damascus (דמשק) can be rearranged to spell ‘Mikdash’ (מקדש), the Temple”

Israel Confirms it Struck Chemical Weapons in Syria

 Iran controlled Bashar al Assad, the dictator of Syria.  They also control Hezbollah in Lebanon.  It's Shiite Muslims running the show.  Now that Hezbollah and Assad have been thrown out, who is going to rush in and fill the vacuum?  

We know that the rebel's leader in Syria throwing out Assad and making him flee to Russia, used to be involved in Al Qaida and other Sunni Muslim terrorist groups.  So who do we trust less?  Shiite Muslim terrorists or Sunni Muslim terrorists?

Maybe Israel is going to use this time of confusion to rush into Syria, push back all Muslims further from the border and blow up their chemical weapons before the world finds out WHO is going to run Syria?

Israel has confirmed it is carrying out air strikes on Syria to target suspected chemical weapons and missile sites.

Gideon Saar, the country's foreign minister, said this was to stop weapons falling "into the hands of extremists", following the overthrow of the Assad regime.

Media reports suggest there have been dozens of Israeli air strikes in the past two days, including on a site in Damascus said to have been used for rocket development by Iranian scientists.

The Israeli air strikes come as the UN's chemical watchdog warns authorities in Syria to ensure that suspected stockpiles of chemical weapons are safe.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), a UK-based monitoring group, said on Monday that the Israeli military had conducted overnight strikes on multiple locations spanning coastal and southern Syria.

"Since the initial hours after the announcement of the fall of the former regime, Israel began launching intensive air strikes, deliberately destroying weapons and ammunitions depots," it said.

According to the UN's chemical watchdog, the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), a chemical weapon is a chemical used to cause intentional death or harm through its toxic properties, external.

The use of chemical weapons is prohibited under international humanitarian law regardless of the presence of a valid military target, as the effects of such weapons are indiscriminate by nature.

It is not known where or how many chemical weapons Syria has, but former President Bashar al-Assad is believed to have kept stockpiles and that the declaration he had made was incomplete.

Abortion Pill Murders Force Truth to Sneak Out

 If a pregnant woman was driving to the abortion clinic to kill her baby but was struck by a car driven by a drunk driver and the baby was killed, the drunk driver could be charged with man-slaughter for the killing of the baby.  But the mother could have killed that same baby and been given a lollipop and a pat on the back.

If a man impregnates a woman but doesn’t want the baby, he has no real say.  So he slips some abortion pills into her orange juice causing the baby to die.  When the woman finds out that her “baby” has been killed, the man gets charged with murder and goes to jail.  That same lady could have killed that same baby in her stomach and been charged with nothing.  

The confusion that takes over those folks who are pro-abortion is so illogical that it has to be a supernatural delusion helped along by the Evil One.

The Worby story is an ugly one. Edmund Bickers, the prosecutor, told the Norwich crown court that the woman “wanted to have the baby,” which is why Worby has to use deception in order to get her to swallow the poison that killed her child, and that the act was “deliberate, well-planned, and callous.” Worby had acquired the abortion drugs from his friend’s partner, Nueza Cepeda. At the sentencing on December 6, Mr. Justice Joel Bennathan, too, abandoned pro-choice language, telling Worby: “You are a selfish man and set about aborting the baby without (the woman) knowing.”

We all know that the unborn child is a baby. We just pretend that we don’t most of the time in order to justify abortion on demand.
