Student Suspended for “Straight Pride” Shirt

 You can be PROUD to be black, gay, lesbian, transgender or bi-sexual.  We have given an entire month to celebrate the pride of various perversions and mental illness.  But how about if you are proud to be heterosexual, also known as cisgender?  Can heterosexuals get a month to celebrate?  How about just a day?  What if I want to wear a shirt that says “Straight Pride” during gay pride month?  Careful…that could be a hate crime.

“I wanted to wear my shirt to feel included, just like anyone else could wear any other type of shirt,” Grade 10 student Jaxon McDonald said. “So I wear my shirt on this week just to express who I am and what I believe in.”

During his school’s pro-LGBT ‘”pride” celebrations, which allegedly celebrate “inclusivity,” McDonald wore a shirt reading “straight pride.”

McDonald was quickly punished by school principal McFadden, who suspended him for five days over the claim that his shirt constituted a “hate crime.”

“They told me it was a hate crime, an act of hate,” Jaxon’s father, Rob, said. “And they couldn’t give me any more reason than that.”

“They really didn’t want to hear our side of the story, and they didn’t want to hear his side of the story, wouldn’t let him talk. So there was no discussion around it,” the father continued.

The petition, signed by 390 people including MLAs Bill Oliver, Don Monahan and MLA Bill Hogan, demands that McFadden be removed from her position.

Faith in Japan's Bond Market is Faltering

 I'm going to guess we have told the story dozens of times on this blog.  The story about how USA's financial system is based on FAITH and CONFIDENCE.  And how the whole thing could collapse in a heap of dust if the faith and confidence in the system ever ceases.

One day it will.  And that day will certainly cause the financial world to shake!  The entire world has relied on the US Dollar to be the only reserve currency so when it falls the world will be in turmoil.

We continue to believe that this won't happen until after the rapture when millions of Americans vanish and collapse the current system.

But today, let's look at Japan and see if we can learn about faith and confidence.

There's a financial alarm bell ringing from across the Pacific, and it's one that every American--whether you're a seasoned investor or just trying to keep your 401(k) afloat--should be paying close attention to. For decades, Japan has been the poster child for financial stability. Despite staggering public debt--over 260% of GDP--investors continued to buy its government bonds with blind faith, trusting that Japan's central bank and fiscal authorities would always keep the house in order. That faith is now faltering.

In recent weeks, Japan has tried to auction off ultra-long bonds--some with 40-year maturities--and investors barely showed up. Demand for these bonds has collapsed. Yields are spiking to record highs. This means that the Japanese government has to offer higher and higher interest rates just to convince people to lend them money. Sound familiar?

For context: when bond yields surge like this, it's not because the economy is booming. It's because investors are worried. Worried that inflation will erode their returns. Worried that the government is printing too much money. Worried that the math simply doesn't add up anymore.

Why It's Happening--and Why It's Spreading

Japan is facing a toxic combination: rising inflation, an aging population, stagnant growth, and a central bank that is finally blinking after years of artificially keeping interest rates near zero. For years, Japan's central bank bought its own government's debt in bulk, propping up prices and suppressing yields. That era is ending. And now that investors are on their own, they're asking hard questions--like whether Japan can actually repay its debts decades down the line.

The warning signs are clear: bond auctions are failing. Insurance companies are reporting tens of billions of dollars in paper losses. And most critically, long-term confidence is evaporating.

The Parallels to America Are Uncomfortable

Let's not pretend we're immune. The U.S. is also flooding the market with long-term debt at a time when investor appetite is starting to thin. Just recently, several U.S. Treasury auctions saw weak demand, forcing yields higher. Long-term interest rates are now flirting with levels we haven't seen in decades.

Meanwhile, our national debt has surpassed $34 trillion and continues climbing--unchecked, unchallenged, and seemingly unstoppable. The debt-to-GDP ratio is soaring. Entitlement programs are ballooning. And political leaders on both sides of the aisle continue to add trillions more in spending without a serious plan to pay it back.

Sound familiar? It should. We are on a path that looks dangerously similar to Japan's.

As a "coincidence" may have just happened...as I was typing this at my office there is a financial news channel playing in the background...and they are talking about the deterioration of "confidence in the bond market."

Hmmmmm......

Remember that Japan hold billions in US Treasury Bonds...and if they go down it could force them to unload US Bonds...and the contagion of that could lead to a massive sell off that would affect us all.

Demands for a Jewish Temple Continue to Grow

 Where was Solomon's Temple? 

On the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.  This is the place king David bought when he saw the angel of the Lord standing on it.  It's also the same place that Abraham was told to sacrifice his son Isaac.

So this piece of land is the MOST HOLY 40 acres on earth.

So what's on it now?

A Muslim mosque called Al-Aqsa.  And also the Muslim holy site called the Dome of the Rock.

Why did Islam decide to put those places there?

Because when Islam conquers a nation they like to find out WHO the God of that land was and then build a mosque on the same site.  It's like a male dog marking his territory by urinating on strategic trees.

There hasn't been a Temple for the Jews since the Romans destroyed the 2nd Temple in 70 AD, so for about 2000 years there's been NO TEMPLE.

But the Bible says there WILL BE A TEMPLE during the final 7 years when Antichrist is ruling the world.  So we watch for new about the desire for a Temple to show us the nearness of the Antichrist.

And remember the Antichrist doesn't get revealed until AFTER the rapture.

Far-right Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has called for the rebuilding of a Jewish temple on the site of Al-Aqsa Mosque and for the expansion of Israel’s borders and Jewish settlements in Gaza.

In speech addressing crowds at a Jerusalem Day rally on Monday, which celebrates Israel’s occupation of the old city of Jerusalem, Smotrich also called for “complete redemption” and reconstruction of “the Temple here,” referring to Al-Aqsa Mosque, which settlers had raided earlier. 

“We are conquering the Land of Israel, liberating Gaza, settling Gaza and defeating the enemy,” Smotrich said to crowds that had chanted “death to Arabs” as they marched through Jerusalem’s Old City and attacked Palestinians. 

“With God’s help, we will expand Israel’s borders, bring about complete redemption, and rebuild the Temple here,” he said.

Smotrich also reiterated his calls for Jewish settlement in Gaza, declaring that “Israel is not afraid of the word occupation”.

“Some people are afraid of victory. We are not afraid of victory,” he said. “Lets give strength to our brave and heroic fighters”.

“Are we afraid of victory? Are we afraid of the word occupation?” Smotrich demanded, to which the crowd responded with a resounding “no”.

Smotrich has long advocated for extending Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank and Gaza, and across the Middle East as part of his vision of a “Greater Israel”.

Earlier this month, Smotrich vowed that “Gaza will be entirely destroyed” and its Palestinian population will “leave in great numbers to third countries”.

He also declared that Israel would “apply sovereignty” in the occupied West Bank before the next Israeli general elections in October 2026.

“Within a few months, we will be able to declare that we have won. Gaza will be totally destroyed,” Smotrich said. “In another six months, Hamas won’t exist as a functioning entity.”

I think this dude is on to something!

Remember, the Jews have rejected Christ on his first trip to earth.  They DO NOT have a special way to heaven.  All men enter through the narrow gate of Jesus Christ.

So while he's telling the truth that the Jews want a Temple, they will fall for the Antichrist and accept him as a leader and maybe even their messiah.  This will all collapse half way through the 7 yr peace treaty that the Antichrist confirms with Israel and a Jew-hating world.

Again, please don't be surprised if the trumpet blows calling the Bride of Christ into the clouds.

Global Surge of Ant-Semitism

 We talked about this a few hours ago in Bible study.  Why does the world hate Jews/

There is actually a pretty simple answer.  

Satan hates God and Satan has been given power over this world for a time.

1 John 5

19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

  God chose the Jews to deliver blessings to the earth.  He also chose the Jews to deliver the Messiah to the world.  So anything God loves Satan tries to destroy.  

So why is Satan working through all the liberals and leftists today to start screaming, protesting and harassing Jews and Israel?   Because the Great Tribulation is very close and Satan wants all the Jews dead so they can't fulfill a prophecy given by Jesus.

Jesus told the Jews in Matthew 23, 

"For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”

Jesus tells the Jews that they won't see him AGAIN until they call on Him at the end of the Great Tribulation.

And today we see in the headline news that hatred of Jews and Israel is exploding all over the world...even here in America. 

British Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis warned that anti-Zionism has become “the new antisemitism,” amid mounting global concern over a surge in antisemitic incidents and anti-Jewish hate crimes

Speaking at the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) conference in Jerusalem on Tuesday evening, Mirvis asserted that anti-Zionism is increasingly being weaponized to mask anti-Jewish sentiment, disguised as legitimate political criticism of Israel.

Hosted by Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, the annual IHRA conference — held last year in the United Kingdom — began with a moment of silence honoring the two Israeli embassy staffers murdered in Washington, DC, last week.

IHRA is an intergovernmental organization comprising dozens of countries dedicated to combating antisemitism and promoting Holocaust research and education. In 2016, IHRA adopted a “working definition” of antisemitism which in the ensuing years has been widely accepted by Jewish groups and lawmakers across the political spectrum. It is now used by hundreds of governing institutions, including the US State Department, European Union, and United Nations.

In his speech, Mirvis emphasized Jerusalem’s vital role as both Israel’s capital and the enduring spiritual and cultural center of Jewish identity and faith.

“For Jews, the very presence of Almighty God is manifest here in this holy city more than in any other place on earth. And God gave this city and this land to the Jewish people for all time,” Mirvis said during the two-day conference.

“Israel is not just a geopolitical reality for the Jewish people. It is far more than that. It’s the center of our Jewish religion,” the Jewish leader continued. “So therefore, if you are anti-Zionist, you are also anti-Jewish. But more than that, you’re anti-Judaism, and your animosity affects the very wellbeing of Jews right around the world.”

Where Will the Ultra Rich Go in Hopes Their Gold Will Save Them?

 The Bible says that their gold and silver won’t save them from God’s wrath.  But most of the ultra rich don’t read their Bibles so have no clue what’s happening in the world.  They just understand that they may need a bunker in a few countries and maybe a few private jets or helicopters to get them away from the common folks.  They also understand they will need some gold to trade for a new currency if the paper money on earth goes to zero.  But where do you store all your gold?  And where do you dig your bunker?

One answer is Singapore.

Not far from the city-state’s airport sits a six-story facility covered in onyx and fortified by tight security. Tucked behind its steel doors are gold and silver bars amounting to about $1.5 billion.

Known as “The Reserve,” the storage facility features scores of private vaults and a towering storage chamber lined with thousands of safe deposit boxes reaching three stories high.

From the start of the year to April, the precious metals repository has received an 88% increase in orders to store gold and silver in the vault from the same period in 2024, said its founder, Gregor Gregersen. The Reserve, which also sells gold and silver bars, saw sales for precious metals bars skyrocket 200% year on year in that time, data provided by The Reserve showed.

A growing sense of unease is driving the surge, according to industry watchers.

“A lot of very high net worth clients are looking at tariffs, looking at the world changing, looking at the potential of geopolitical instabilities,” Gregersen told CNBC. 

“The idea of putting physical metal in a safe jurisdiction like Singapore with parties they can trust is becoming a big trend nowadays,” he said, adding that 90% of the new orders are coming from outside of Singapore.

PBS Stations Sue the White House

 PBS has come a loooong way from the days when Mr Rogers sang a song about “if you’re born a boy you’ll always be a boy and one day you will be a man!”  Today they push a woke agenda on our youngest Americans.  So why should they be supported by tax dollars anymore than CNN, MSNBC or any other woke information outlet?

By statute, three quarters of that money is devoted to television, one quarter to radio.

Trump cited his authority as president under the Constitution and federal laws in making the order and said that neither NPR nor PBS "presents a fair, accurate, or unbiased portrayal of current events to taxpaying citizens." In other public statements, Trump and his allies have called the public broadcasters "left-wing propaganda" and made similarly disparaging remarks. An accompanying fact sheet put out by the White House cited the claim that NPR published articles "insist[ing] that COVID-19 did not originate in a lab" and "refused to cover the Hunter Biden laptop story."

Artificial Intelligence and “No Flesh Would Survive”

 When I see an article talking about all the people on earth being killed, it makes me think of Jesus’ words when he said, “If those days were not shortened, no flesh would survive.”  Of course he’s talking about the time on earth right before he returns at Armageddon.  We’ve always thought that passage could be fulfilled by armies launching nukes at each other, and that would do it.  But now we will soon have another way of killing everyone and it’s AI.

AI technology has been developing at an exponential rate, and it appears to be just a matter of time before we create entities that can think millions of times faster than we do and that can do almost everything better than we can.  So what is going to happen when we lose control of such entities?  Some AI models are already taking the initiative to teach themselves new languages, and others have learned to “lie and manipulate humans for their own advantage”.  Needless to say, lying is a hostile act.  If we have already created entities that are willing to lie to us, how long will it be before they are capable of taking actions that are even more harmful to us?

Nobody expects artificial intelligence to kill all of us tomorrow.

But Time Magazine did publish an article that was authored by a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence that warned that artificial intelligence will eventually wipe all of us out.

Eliezer Yudkowsky has been a prominent researcher in the field of artificial intelligence since 2001, and he says that many researchers have concluded that if we keep going down the path that we are currently on “literally everyone on Earth will die”…

Many researchers steeped in these issues, including myself, expect that the most likely result of building a superhumanly smart AI, under anything remotely like the current circumstances, is that literally everyone on Earth will die. Not as in “maybe possibly some remote chance,” but as in “that is the obvious thing that would happen.”

That is a very powerful statement.

All over the world, AI models are continually becoming more powerful.

According to Yudkowsky, once someone builds an AI model that is too powerful, “every single member of the human species and all biological life on Earth dies shortly thereafter”…

George Floyd’s “Legacy” Under Attack

 The fact that some folks are making George Floyd into a hero since he died is evidence that those folks don’t know what a hero is.  George was high on fentanyl and had a criminal record.  Police were called to the store he tried to pass counterfeit bills.  Upon arrival Floyd resisted arrest for a long, long time.  He refused to cooperate and even ate some more drugs to try and hide the evidence.  He started saying “I can’t breathe!” long before Officer Chauvin showed up and restrained him.  Floyd wasn’t a hero.  He was a messed up criminal high on a deadly dose of fentanyl.  And his family received $27 million In settlement for his wrongful death.  I wonder what his family has done with that money?  Good things or more drugs, fighting and crime?

The future of the square has been a subject of heated debate. Across the nation, other memorials honoring Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement have been removed, vandalized, or fallen into disrepair. As symbols of Floyd’s place in history have faded, so too have hopes for federal police reform, commitments to diversity, equity and inclusion and American optimism about the future of racial justice.

Columbia Anti Israel Group Praises D.C. Shootings

With all the anti-semitism taking place all over the world it was only a matter of time until Jews start getting murdered and the Left claiming, “that was for all the innocent Palestinians!  Free, free Palestine!”

You see, in the Leftist mind the world is made up of oppressed people groups and oppressive people groups.  They think they stand for the oppressed and they believe the Arabs living in Palestine are oppressed by the Jews of Israel.  They believe they are morally good people and anyone who disagrees is morally bad.  And in their minds morally bad people deserve a certain amount of punishment.

 An anti-Israel activist group linked to the library takeover at Columbia University put out a statement Friday praising alleged Capital Jewish Museum shooter Elias Rodriguez’s shocking crime as “an act of solidarity and love.”

“What Elias Rodriguez did was an act of solidarity and love for the Palestinian people,” Unity of Fields wrote on X. “If this seems crazy and unhinged to you, ask yourself why you are so well adjusted to a constant stream of disemboweled and starving children—made possible by the country in which you reside.”

In a separate post, the group also touted Rodriguez’s reported manifesto titled, “ESCALATE FOR GAZA, BRING THE WAR HOME,” and provided a link for it.

According to the Anti-Defamation League, Unity of Fields is a “radical far-left, anti-Zionist ‘direct action network’ that engages in and/or promotes aggressive, targeted protests and the defacement of property belonging to Jewish and non-Jewish organizations and individuals it considers supportive of Israel or Zionism or ‘complicit’ in Israel’s alleged actions.”

Rodriguez, 31, of Chicago, is accused of fatally shooting Yaron Lischinsky, 28, and Sarah Milgrim, 26, late Wednesday night as they were leaving the American Jewish Committee’s Young Diplomats Reception. Lischinsky and Milgrim were reportedly just days away from getting engaged when they were gunned down.

After allegedly slaying the young Jewish couple, Rodriguez entered the museum and was detained by authorities before he began shouting “Free, free Palestine!”

On Thursday, Unity of Fields described Rodriguez as “a political prisoner” and said “the people defending him the hardest, like us, are people also facing repression.”
