U.S.’s Interest Payments Are About to Skyrocket

"Rarely have deficits risen when the economy is booming. And never in modern U.S. history have deficits been so high outside of a war or recession (or their aftermath)," the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget wrote in a recent blog post. 

In the first full year of Donald Trump's presidency, the federal deficit rose to its highest level in six years. Next year, it's projected to rise even higher.

Is this historic abnormality a problem? Some economists think so. The Congressional Budget Office warned about the debt in its latest budget projection. "[H]igh and rising debt would have serious negative consequences for the budget and the nation," the CBO wrote, adding that high debt makes a fiscal crisis more likely and leaves less room for lawmakers to change tax and spending policies to help solve a crisis.

Israel-Iran Showdown Coming

Netanyahu has promised that he won't allow Iran to take root in Syria.  We read that on Tuesday night the skies around Damascus lit up as the IDF took out numerous targets with many of them reportedly having something to do with Iranian munitions.

Trump announced he was pulling out of Syria so we are guessing that a power vacuum is going to transpire and Israel says Iran WILL NOT FILL IT.  Meanwhile Iran has announced THEY WILL FILL IT....so some thing's going to have to give.

Israel will not let Iran embed its troops in Syria, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday, a day after an airstrike attributed to Israel reportedly targeted Hezbollah or Iranian weapons depots in the war-torn country. 

"Israel is operating against the Iranian entrenchment in Syria," the prime minister told new pilots at an Israel Air Force graduation ceremony.

Tuesday night's missile strikes triggered Syrian air defenses, with one of the anti-aircraft missiles crossing the border into Israeli airspace. The missile set off Israel's own air defenses, with residents of the center of the country reporting hearing a loud boom and seeing smoke trails. Russia, which has a sizeable presence in Syria backing President Bashar Assad, later called the airstrike "provocative" and said it endangered two civilian passenger jets.  

Israel traditionally does not confirm or deny airstrikes it carries out against targets in Syria, but has vowed to prevent the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terror group from acquiring advanced weaponry via Syria. Both the Lebanese-based Hezbollah and Iran have a presence in Syria, ostensibly to help oust Islamic State from the country. Israel has warned against Iran taking root on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights, along the Israeli border.

"The State of Israel is counting on you, and I'm counting on you," Netanyahu told the new pilots Wednesday at the ceremony at Hatzerim air base in the Negev. "I accompany our pilots all the time, usually in the wee hours of the night when I stay awake next to the red phone to hear from the military secretary that the mission, complex as it may be, was successfully carried out and that all our forces have safely returned home."

Netanyahu also commented on the American withdrawal from Syria, stating Israel would not change its policy.

"Protecting our homeland begins nipping major threats in the bud. We'll not accept Iranian entrenchment in Syria, which is meant to harm us and we are acting to eradicate it. US President Donald Trump's decision to pull out from Syria doesn't change our policy. Our red lines remain the same—in Syria and everywhere else," he said.

Israel lives in a tough neighborhood.  Any sign of backing down or compromise is interpreted as fear and fear is something that you don't want to show.

The Bible promises that once Israel has been regathered from the nations that she will NEVER be totally destroyed again.  God himself will be their ultimate protector during the Great Tribulation. They will go through an ENORMOUS amount of pain, suffering and death during this time, but they will never be totally destroyed.  Zechariah prophesies that as many as 2/3 of the world's Jews will be killed in that final holocaust.  Those days will be cut short by the physical return of Jesus to planet earth.

Trump Tells Turkey, “Syria is All Yours”

It seems as if the table continues to be set for the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38-39. Turkey, Russia and Iran all have troops in Syria on Israel’s northern border and now USA, one of Israel’s protectors, is bugging out. Many prophecy watchers believe this event will happen AFTER the rapture. If that’s true we should NOT be surprised if we hear a loud trumpet blow some day really soon!  Encourage each other with these words!

As US troops prepare to pull out from Syria, CNN reports that Turkey's Erdogan assured President Trump in a heated phone conversation that his country will continue to fight terrorism in the war-torn state until IS is defeated.

On Wednesday, President Trump announced the withdrawal of all US troops from Syria, which has been sharply criticized by many, especially by America's Kurdish allies, who may well face a Turkish assault once US troops leave, and had been staunchly opposed by the Pentagon.

God is Always in Control so Have a Merry Christmas!

Yes it’s true, this blessed nation of America is giving up its faith in Jesus Christ and jettisoning the fear of the Lord that served to make us great. It’s tragic that America is boarding up 6000 churches per year as the younger generations want nothing to do with worshipping their Creator.  Instead they have been taught by public education to worship Mother Earth and the amazing life forms she has brought forth by random chance and evolution. Mother Earth keeps no track of sin so in their minds there is no sin!  A near majority of these Americans want a one world government.  One that could combat global warming, implement universal gun control and redistribute all the wealth to make the world “fair”.  

Rejoice brothers and sisters because the Bible has told us all along this is how it would be!  Jesus is coming back for His bride just as He promised!  And what we are seeing converge upon us is more evidence that our blessed hope is very near.

These who form the dark movement to bring America into compliance with the new world order, who are determined to destroy America as founded, look for the one God’s Word calls “the abomination that makes desolate” (see Daniel 9). They are looking for the great political leadership that will correct the horrendous mess they, themselves, have made of things. But, we who name the Name of Christ Jesus can take assurance as we observe Christmas 2018. We look back to that First Advent and that baby in the manger as proof that God the Father is still in complete control. All the evil we see tracking across the geopolitical and religious landscape is right on target to fulfill that great promise that the Second Advent–the Second Coming of Christ–is on the immediate horizon.

The first phase of that Second Advent will be the Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ. Convergence of events prove beyond any doubt to the discerning believer that great event is about to happen.

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh” (Luke 21:28).

Now that promise straight from the heart of God is certainly reason to have a very Merry Christmas!
