Clinton Rebukes Israel

Again, I'm not saying that we have to agree with every single little thing that Israel does or says....but from a prophetic view, this headline is concerning.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has sharply rebuked Israel over its recent decision to build new settlements in East Jerusalem.

She told Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu by telephone that the move was "deeply negative" for US-Israeli relations.

The Catholic Church is only too aware that in an age of constant distraction provided by mobile phones, television and 24-hour internet access, their audiences sometimes struggle to maintain attention – or even stay awake.

"The homily in general should not go over eight minutes – the average amount of time for a listener to concentrate," the Croatian-born archbishop said.

Clergy should read newspapers so that they can make the Word of God more relevant and contemporary, he added.

How much longer, Lord, can the cup of sin continue to fill? How much more ungrateful and disrespectful can we become?

Again, prophetically speaking, remember that Catholicism will most likely play a big part in the one world religion that the Bible speaks of that will be on earth during the Tribulation. Could that mean that many Catholic leaders will be left behind at the rapture because they have failed to believe in Jesus?

Disputed City

Palestinians and Israeli troops are scuffling again as the tensions grow.

JERUSALEM — Several dozen Palestinian women scuffled with Israeli troops on the outskirts of Jerusalem on Saturday amid rising religious and political tensions in the disputed city.

The confrontation erupted at the Qalandiya crossing between the West Bank and Jerusalem.
The women chanted "Jerusalem is Arab, our eternal capital," briefly planted a Palestinian flag on one of the crossing's metal gates and tried to push through it. Israeli troops scuffled with the women and dispersed them with tear gas. At one point, a firebomb hit a military jeep and soldiers rushed to extinguish the fire.

As the women withdrew, Palestinian teens threw stones at soldiers who closed the crossing to traffic.

Question; What does the Bible say about who Jerusalem belongs to?

Sadly, these Arabs have believed a HUGE lie....and who does Jesus say is the "father of all lies"?

Tragically, at the rapture of the church....only those who have the Holy Spirit indwelling them when the trumpet blows will be going to meet the Lord in the air.

"I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling......", says the Lord.

Jewish Wedding and the Rapture

When Jesus comes for his Bride (all believers who are indwelt with the Holy Spirit), He will come in the clouds and call us all up into the air to meet him. It will be a stealth event and the world will wonder what the heck happened....and Satan will have a hay-day because the Restraining Holy Spirit will be gone and will hold him back no longer.

Where will Christ take us? Into the wedding chamber that has been prepared for us where we will consummate the wedding.

How long will we be gone? About seven earth years....so we will sit out The Tribulation while God's wrath gets poured out on earth.

When we return with Christ (Revelation 19), we will rule, reign and be co-heirs of planet earth for 1000 years while Jesus sits on David's throne and rules with an iron rod.

As the apostles would have been explaining all these things to a Jewish audience and as Jesus told his parables....the audience would have been EXTREMELY FAMILIAR with how Jewish weddings worked....and probably would have understood the rapture A LOT more than us gentiles.

Here are just a few steps;

*Groom pays the bride price.
*Groom leaves to prepare a place for his bride, usually attached to Father's house.
*Bride doesn't know when the groom will come for her...but she stays ready.
*Father sends the groom to collect his bride only when the Father says so.
*Bride and Groom spend 7 days in Bridal chamber consummating their wedding.
*They emerge from the bridal chamber and groom introduces bride to the town.
*Many are then invited to the wedding feast....but the door is closed on many.

Does all this sound familiar? Does it ring any bells on parables you have read from the Bible? Does it confirm with you that we should be expecting a Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the church?

But isn't it true that the Holy Spirit can use fear of the unknown to bring people to the Lord? I can't help but wonder how conflict may erupt in our own country as demand for water in Las Vegas, Colorado, California, Arizona, etc.... continues to grow.

Satan In the Vatican

Many prophecy watchers are keeping a close eye on the Catholic church. Why? Because the book of Daniel seems to hint that the final government on earth will be a revived Roman empire....this will be in place when Jesus comes to lay low the nations....and most likely the antichrist will be heading it. (Read Daniel chapter 2 that talks of the legs of iron and the feet of iron and clay)

Also we have been watching them because there appears to be a growing movement to recognize Mary as a co-redemptress with Jesus...meaning that you can pray to either one for salvation. (In the last days, false christs will appear)

Chief exorcist Father Gabriele Amorth says Devil is in the Vatican

Sex abuse scandals in the Roman Catholic Church are proof that that "the Devil is at work inside the Vatican", according to the Holy See's chief exorcist.

Father Gabriele Amorth, 85, who has been the Vatican's chief exorcist for 25 years and says he has dealt with 70,000 cases of demonic possession, said that the consequences of satanic infiltration included power struggles at the Vatican as well as "cardinals who do not believe in Jesus, and bishops who are linked to the Demon".

He added: "When one speaks of 'the smoke of Satan' [a phrase coined by Pope Paul VI in 1972] in the holy rooms, it is all true – including these latest stories of violence and paedophilia."

"On that day, some will say,'Lord, Lord...didn't we prophecy in your name...didn't we cast out demons in your name?' 'Depart from me...I do not know you.'"

That verse makes me wonder if Jesus is referring to Catholics here...because how many mainline denominations do you know that have exorcists casting out demons? And this dude says that there are cardinals who don't believe in Jesus and bishops who are linked to Satan.

Excerpts From Biden's Speech

VP Biden did give a speech in Jerusalem yesterday. I read the whole thing and to be honest....it sounded pretty good to my human ears. How it sounded to God....I can't say.

He made clear that Israel and USA have an unbreakable bond. He restated the special relationship our two countries have always shared and he relived the meeting he had with Golda Mier right before the 1974 war broke out.

All pretty good stuff.

Here is how Biden ended his speech;

LADIES AND gentlemen, I’m a Roman Catholic. And no one – and I’m no expert on the Old Testament. But I know we’re gathered today between Purim and Passover, holidays that teach us about salvation and redemption. It was written in the Book of Isaiah that Israel shall be “a light unto the nations.”

And yet, for more than six decades, Israelis have often sought but never found the salvation of a lasting peace. And it is very hard – it is very hard to be a beacon for others, when you are constantly at war. To end this historic conflict, both sides must be historically bold, because if each waits stubbornly for the other to act first, this will go on and we’ll be waiting for an eternity.

Back home, I am sometimes called an optimist, but I am an optimist about the prospects for peace because I am a realist. And to paraphrase Golda Meir, there is nowhere else to go.

I cannot tell you that peace will come easily, you know better. In human history, it rarely has. But I can promise you, both Israelis and Palestinians, that the rewards for success will be boundless and that so long as well-intentioned people are engaged in this struggle, the United States will be your partner.

Biden Warns Israel

The ominous headline appears in today's Wall Street Journal;

RAMALLAH, West Bank—The controversy over plans to build Israeli homes in Jerusalem that has overshadowed U.S. Vice President Joe Biden's trip to the Middle East began to lose steam Wednesday, as Palestinian leaders stopped short of pulling out of an American effort to renew peace talks.

Mr. Biden repeated, for the second day, an unusually blunt indictment of Israel, saying that the planning decision "undermined the trust" necessary for the success of the peace process.

Now don't get me wrong....we don't have to support Israel on everything they do just because they are Israel...but we need to clearly remember whose land and city Jerusalem is....God's.

Zechariah 1:17, "This is what the Lord Almighty says: 'My towns will again overflow with prosperity, and the Lord will again comfort Zion and choose Jerusalem.'"

Zechariah 12:3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I (God) will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.

Zechariah 12:9 On that day I (God) will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem.

Those are just a few verses of the many that talk about Jerusalem. Clearly, God has big, supernatural plans soon coming for Jerusalem....and VP Biden better be walking VERY gingerly around that Holy ground....lest he bring the wrath of God down on all of us who dwell in the U.S.

Please remember to pray for President Obama and VP Biden...that their eyes may be opened and that God uses them as a vessel for His will to be done.

Focus On Jerusalem

We know VP Biden is over in Israel and he's trying to do his best to be friendly with both Jews and Arabs.

I just was talking with a client on the phone (a good Lutheran) and she said, with noted disgust, that she was shocked that Israel announced plans yesterday to continue building housing units on "Arab" land. (The Bible says it's God's land...but that's for another discussion)

I believe that most of us really don't have a firm understanding of how the nation of Israel came to it's independence, how the wars were fought with their Arab enemies, and simply have no idea how this all ties into Biblical prophecy.

It's important to note that the Arab nations have NEVER wanted peace. They want Israel gone....and they know it will be necessary to kill all the Israeli Jews to make this happen.

The Arabs not only rejected partition, but attacked Israel from all sides. On the day that Israel declared its independence, the Arab League Secretary, General Azzam Pasha declared "jihad", a holy war. He said, "This will be a war of extermination and a momentous massacre which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the Crusades". The Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Al Husseini stated, "I declare a holy war, my Moslem brothers! Murder the Jews! Murder them all!" The armies of lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq invaded the tiny new country with the declared intent of destroying it.

Friends....if the U.S. government ignores historical facts and decides instead to pressure, cajole and force Israel to give up land, treasure and security in a bogus attempt to claim, "Peace in the region!"....I have to believe that the USA will also be forced by God to give up our land, treasure and security.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem....even though we are fully aware that permanent peace will NEVER come until our Lord Jesus shows up on scene wearing the crown, "PRINCE OF PEACE AND LORD OF LORDS!"

Greece Foreshadowing U.S.?

Last Sunday in adult ed, we wondered aloud whether the possible financial collapse of Greece could be a foreshadowing for what could be coming for America. Afterall, if Greece goes, Spain, Portugal and Japan could also start to unravel...and where would the dominoes stop tipping?

Financial chaos WOULD NOT BE GOOD in the USA. Most of us have no ability whatsoever to care for ourselves if our credit cards cease to work.

Remember, it is a GREAT idea to be storing up some extra canned goods and maybe even a little cook stove in the garage. Even if we had an ice storm that pulled down all our power for weeks...we should have a way to care for ourselves. Our grandparents ALL had fruit cellars where they had a years worth of food....but if Cub Foods goes dark... most of us won't be having any supper.

Nigeria Update

We weren't sure in a earlier posting whether is was Muslims hacking Christians or Christians hacking Muslims.

We now know it was Muslims hacking Christian women, children and old people to death. About 500 victims seems to be the number of dead.

It is being reported that the attackers threw fishing nets over many of their victims and then hacked them to death while they were caught up in the nets.

Also it is being reported that lots of rape and torture preceded the hacking to death.

Father....forgive them for they know not what they do.

If humans can be this violent and cruel to each other WHILE the Holy Spirit is dwelling within believers on earth......can you imagine how men will turn on each other once the Holy Spirit (the Restrainer) is withdrawn in the rapture?

War at Any Time

The North Koreans are getting a little tense.

Evidently, the USA and South Korea are having some joint war games in the area....and North Korea is having some insecurity issues.

PYONGYANG, March 8 (Xinhua) -- All the army and people in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) should get ready for warfare to answer the U.S.-South Korean joint military exercise, said the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army (KPA) on Monday.

It said that the U.S.-South Korean joint military exercise was creating tense situation on the Korean Peninsula and that a war may break out anytime.

Now, let's remember that we have already paid North Korea billions of dollars to ditch it's nuclear program....and now they go and say this;

South Korea and the United States started Monday their annual joint military exercises called Key Resolve/Foal Eagle, a day after the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) denounced the drills as a preparation for invasion and threatened to strengthen its nuclear deterrence.

Dolphins Are People Too!

As the author of this article correctly points out.....as the world falls away from all Biblical knowledge and has no ability whatsoever to discern right from wrong....we can expect some crazy things to happen.

They won't seem to be crazy to the "really smart" people....but to those of us with Biblical world views, we have to ask the question again, "Is the world going insane?"

One of the most serious consequences coming from our society's collective abandonment of the Judeo-Christian ethic handed down to us from our Founders is our startling tendency to drift from truth into utter confusion. While the biblical worldview provides a solid foundation upon which to build our respect for life, liberty and property, its emerging replacement – moral relativism – offers only the passing whims and fancies of whichever political and cultural fad is currently in vogue.

Take for example what recently occurred at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. The fascinating topic of conversation (please note the sarcasm) was the ethical and policy implications of dolphin intelligence. In other words, should we grant dolphins some form of human rights that would protect them to a greater degree than other animals?

But it was Thomas White of Loyola Marymount University who stole the show and demonstrated just how dangerously confused our society is becoming. According to ScienceNOW magazine, White "made the argument that dolphins aren't merely like people – they may actually be people, or at least, 'nonhuman persons' as he described them."

Yes folks....the smartest professors in the world are sitting around at a conference trying to decide if dolphins need greater human rights than lesser animal.

Lost Jewish Tribe Found

This is a pretty cool headline:

They do not eat pork, they practise male circumcision, they ritually slaughter their animals, some of their men wear skull caps and they put the Star of David on their gravestones.

Their oral traditions claim that their ancestors were Jews who fled the Holy Land about 2,500 years ago.

It may sound like another myth of a lost tribe of Israel, but British scientists have carried out DNA tests which have confirmed their Semitic origin.

"Very few people knew about us and this is the time to come out. I'm very proud to realise that we have a rich culture and I'm proud to be a Lemba.

"We have been a very secretive people, because we believe we are a special people."

Wow. It's time to come out because they believe they are a special people. That sure says a lot.

Let's just wonder for a moment.....could it be that God is revealing these people after 2500 years and pointing us to a long, lost Jewish tribe because the time is coming close when 12,000 witnesses will be pulled from each of the 12 tribes of Israel.....because they will be needed to fulfill that prophecy in Revelation during the soon coming Tribulation?

Be Tolerant!

The news coming out of Boulder Colorado today is about a young girl with lesbian parents. The girl is enrolled in the private Catholic school and she won't be allowed to enroll again....because she has lesbian parents.

Of course there is a group protesting this claimed "intolerant" behavior. The conversation goes like this;

"It's clear if they only accept students with perfect parents, they would have almost nobody," said Beth Osnes, an organizer for the protest. "I know they have the right to, but why would they want to? "

Inside the church, the Rev. Bill Breslin addressed the issue in his sermon. He also posted his comments on his blog.

"If a child of gay parents comes to our school, and we teach that gay marriage is against the will of God, then the child will think that we are saying their parents are bad," Breslin said on his blog. "We don't want to put any child in that tough position."

DeMelo said the schools do not ask questions about sexual orientation during enrollment, but once they found out, they had to address it according to their policy.

"We're not trying to weed out people," DeMelo said. "But when they can't agree with our Catholic philosophy, it really makes it difficult to be a strong part of the school community; it's a difficult situation."

It's funny...why would lesbian parents want to put their kids in a Catholic school that they know doesn't ordain their behavior?

Why won't the lesbian parents and protesters be more tolerant of the Catholic church's stance? Why are those lesbians and protesters so intolerant of other's views?

Evil Unleashed in Nigeria

If we were unfortunate enough to live in Nigeria...we may believe that The Tribulation is upon us.

Mark Lipdo, from the Christian charity Stefanos Foundation, said Zot village had been almost wiped out.

He said: "We saw mainly those who are helpless, like small children and then the older men, who cannot run, these were the ones that were slaughtered."

A resident of Dogo-Nahawa said that the attackers had fired guns as they entered the village before dawn on Sunday in defiance of a curfew.

"The shooting was just meant to bring people from their houses and then when people came out they started cutting them with machetes," Peter Jang told Reuters news agency.

Some witnesses said villagers were caught in fishing nets and animal traps as they tried to escape and were then hacked to death. Mud huts were also set on fire.

Wow. Trapping women, children and old people in fishing nets and then hacking them to death. That sounds like a sign of Satanic influence.

Of course the liberal BBC chooses to call it racial violence....but other news services are calling it what it is....MUSLIMS verses CHRISTIANS.

Let's post a question.....do you think it's Christians who are running into Muslim villages hacking women and children to death with machetes....or do you think its Muslims who are killing the Christians?

Quake in Turkey

This wasn't too big of quake and it ONLY killed 5 dozen people...so it won't make the news cycle for very long.

But it will add to our growing insensitivity to catastrophes.....or "bad news overload". We simply will cease to notice that these gyrations of earth causing death used to be very rare and very news worthy. And so we will all fall asleep to the fact that God uses nature to get our attention in the hope that we will turn to Him for salvation....before it's too late.

The quake affected villages near the town of Kovancilar, toppling stone or mud-brick homes and minarets of mosques...

So the steeples were torn off the mosques in Turkey....and Turkey recently started turning on Israel....is it possible there is a connection?

The Haitian capital was literally destroyed...and has a long history of it's leadership and populace involved in Satanic voodoo....could a connection be possible?

Last summer a mutant-unexpected tornado came into downtown Minneapolis on a sunny day and tore the cross off a Lutheran church where they had just voted to ordain gay ministers....is there a possible connection?

Maybe we should start plotting the strange gyrations of earth and see if we can detect any patterns? Maybe we would find a connection to the Word of God?

How Come Jews Are So Smart?

You can't argue with simple facts....and the fact is that the Jewish race has given us more smart people, coming up with more inventions and innovations, winning more Nobel prizes than any other group of people on earth....yet they are one of the least popluace races on earth.

So what gives?

Bible readers know the direct answer; "And you will be a blessing to all the earth", is what God said about the Jewish race.

But science can't use Bible verses to answer illogical questions (nor should they) so they have do come up with some other factors that may explain this strange anomoly of the Jews being so smart.

The Ashkenazim are descended from the Jewish communities of Germany, Austria, Poland, and Eastern Europe that date back to the 10th century. Today they make up around 80 percent of the world's Jews.

The article goes on to surmise that the Jews of Europe became smarter because they were forced to think more to constantly escape persecution. Another idea was that the Jews were forced into the money lending business that Christian gentiles wouldn't do....thereby making the Jews more rich which gave them the opportunity to have more kids.....and those kids were taught to be smarter than the gentiles growing up around them in poverty.

Hmmmmm.....??? I think I will stick to the Bible's answer..."I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you. And you will be a blessing to all the earth."

As It Was In the Days of Noah

Jesus said the the Last Days before his return would be like it was in the days of Noah. Read Matthew 24.

According to this passage, men and women were going about their days eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the flood came and took them away.

But there is another part to the days of Noah. Genesis 6 says that Satanic, fallen angels had been having sex with human women...and only Noah had not participated in this forbidden (by God) activity...so Noah and his family were the only pure humans who had not had their flesh and offspring "corrupted" by Satan's seed.

So we can know that this behavior will probably be happening again as the Last Days further upon us.

Again, it's not just me making this stuff up about Nephilim and fallen angels....the Bible supports it and so do many other prophecy watchers.

Now that that’s cleared up let’s get back to the case in point. The fallen angels who participated in this abomination took them (women) as they chose. The verse doesn’t say they went to the fathers of the women and asked for their hand in marriage. No, these demonic beings took them, forcefully. Remember the verse states “and they took them wives of all which they chose.” This was all part of Satan’s agenda designed to corrupt the gene pool so the Messiah, and Savior of the world couldn’t come, because He would never come from such corrupted men. This whole supernatural phenomenon was an abomination to God and He was sorely displeased. Except for Noah and his immediate family, the entire planet took part in this perversion.

The Bible is clear that Satan is not going to go down without a fight. He will deceive the world and the world has been sufficiently prepared to accept these fallen angels again because they are currently pretending to be "aliens" from other planets.

Pray that we will be spared from the strange times coming for planet earth. "Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil." That's how Jesus taught us to pray.
