Muslims Turn on Christian Neighbors

I fully realize that humans have a capacity for evil NO MATTER what their religious upbringing may have been.  One might discover that Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer went to Sunday School as kids but still ended up butchering women.

That being said, Islam is the only religion on earth with was invented by Satan to destroy Christianity. The two religions are wholly incompatible in their foundations.

Many Muslims are taught that they will one day take over the world by taking over one country at a time.  Many are taught that any person invited to convert to Islam yet refuses should ultimately be killed.  Many are taught to make peace with their neighbors until they feel strong enough to destroy them.

There is a very good reason that Western nations don't want to import too many Muslims...for the very same reason we wouldn't have wanted to import too many Nazi's from Germany during WWII.

We are AT WAR against radical Islam....but does anyone really know who the radical Muslims are today?  And what if your Muslim neighbor who acts like your friend one day turns out to be your betrayer?

One of the most troubling aspects of the recent gang-rape and murder of a 60-year-old Christian teacher in Syria was reported on Arabic media as follows (in translation):

Her rapists and murderers are from the [jihadi] organization, al-Nusra.  Some of them are foreigners but others are from the area.  In other words, those who raped and stoned her are themselves from among her former students and neighbors, whom she taught Arabic in school over the course of 30 years….  Surely she never dreamt to see such depraved savagery in the eyes of her former students…. Nonetheless, they preyed on her like wild beasts—even though wild beasts do not rape their mothers (emphasis added).

Such is the third category of Muslims that lurks between “moderates” and “radicals”: “sleepers”—Muslims who appear “moderate” but who turn “radical” once circumstances become favorable.   For instance, after the Islamic State (“ISIS”) entered the Syrian city of Hassakè, prompting a mass exodus of Christians, many otherwise “normal” Muslims joined ranks with ISIS, instantly turning on their longtime Christian neighbors.

This shift has played out countless times wherever and whenever Islamic terror groups infiltrate.  The following are testimonials from non-Muslims, mostly Christian refuges from those regions of Iraq and Syria that came under ISIS or other jihadi control.  Consider what they say about their longtime Muslim neighbors who appeared “moderate”—or at least nonviolent—but who, once the jihad came to town, exposed their true colors:

Georgios, a man from the ancient Christian town of Ma‘loula, Syria, tells of how Muslim neighbors he knew all his life turned after al-Nusra—the same jihadi outfit that recently gang-raped and murdered the aforementioned 60-year-old Christian women—invaded in 2013:

We knew our Muslim neighbours all our lives. Yes, we knew the Diab family were quite radical, but we thought they would never betray us. We ate with them. We are one people.  A few of the Diab family had left months ago and we guessed they were with the Nusra. But their wives and children were still here. We looked after them. Then, two days before the Nusra attacked, the families suddenly left the town. We didn’t know why. And then our neighbours led our enemies in among us (emphasis added).

When asked during an interview why people she grew up with her whole life suddenly joined ISIS and savagely turned on her people, a Yazidi woman replied:

I can’t tell you exactly, but it has to be religion.  It has to be religion.  They constantly asked us to convert, but we refused.  Before this, they never mentioned it.  Prior, we thought of each other as family.  But I say, it has to be religion (emphasis added).

This phenomenon is not limited to the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq.  In Nigeria—a nation that shares little with Syria and Iraq, other than for its Islam—a jihadi attack that left five churches destroyed and several Christians killed was enabled by “local Muslims” who were previously on friendly terms with the region’s Christians.

Pro Third Temple Politician; Prepare for War

As my regular readers know, there hasn't been a Temple on the Temple Mount for 2000 years.  But today we are seeing much movement in Israel around the desire to build another Temple so they can start animal sacrifices and living in the way the Old Testament told the Jews to live.

The Bible is clear that when the Antichrist shows up after the rapture, he will sit in the yet-to-be-built Temple and declare himself to be God.

So we watch for headlines that talk about the 3rd Temple.

Today we see a headline that not only has the Temple in it but also rumors of war.  A double-prophetic headline!

Responding to reports of an upcoming Israeli-Arab Peace summit hosted by the Trump administration, former MK Moshe Feiglin said that the result of this initiative will be a “war.

Moshe Feiglin, a former parliament member and current head of the Zehut party took to social media saying that the “outcome of Trump’s upcoming Peace summit, like all previous peace summits, will be a war”.

“To comprehend this, one must understand that the objective of a “Palestinian” is not sovereignty (for this non-nation) in Israel but rather the elimination of Jewish sovereignty” Feiglin added.

In the post, the party leader recalled former British Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin who admitted at the end of the British mandate that the objective of the Arabs in Palestine is to ensure that the Jews never have a state.

“Nothing has changed since then” Feiglin continued. “They don’t want a state, they just want to ensure that we don’t have one. They have bever demanded a state in the ‘territories’ when it was under Jordanian and Egyptian control. They will always demand the final square inch of Jewish governed land” he said.

“Therefore, every peace attempt will always lead to another round of bloodshed” Feiglin added.

Feiglin’s party, Zehut, is the only current political party that has publically endorsed building the Third Temple although it is not necessarily at the forefront of their agenda. The Zehut party is also Israel’s only libertarian party who promotes free-market capitalism but also the annexation of all of Judea, Samaria, and Gaza.

Saudi Arabia Finally Allows Women to Travel

Have you ever noticed that very few people are trying to get into Muslim-majority countries? 

I wonder why Linda Sasour and Ilhan Omar don't want to leave America and move into a burqa-wearing country that they could be more comfortable in?

Maybe because the Muslim men in some of those countries will kill them for daring to walk around on the streets without a male escort?

Today we learn that women are getting more freedom in Suadi Arabia!  They can actually get their own passports and even travel without a man!  Allah akbar, that's good news!

Women in Saudi Arabia will finally be allowed to apply for a passport and travel freely without having to secure permission from a male relative, ending a long-standing guardianship policy that gave men control over women.

The new regulation, issued Wednesday and approved Thursday by the Saudi Cabinet, won’t only just allow Saudi women to apply for passports, but also for women over the age of 21 to travel alone.

The decrees were announced early Friday morning in the kingdom’s official weekly Um al-Qura gazette. It’s not clear when the new rules will go into effect.

Other changes allow women to register a marriage, divorce or child's birth and to be issued official family documents. It also stipulates that a father or mother can be legal guardians of children.

However, still in place are rules that require male consent for a woman to leave prison, exit a domestic abuse shelter or marry. Women still cannot pass on citizenship to their children and cannot provide consent for their children to marry.

He also supported loosening rules on gender segregation and bringing concerts and movie theaters to the country.

The changes are important to Saudi women's rights in the kingdom. The legal system has long required women to have a male guardian to do simple tasks in every day life. Often a woman's male guardian is her father or husband, and in some cases a woman's own son.

Dr Doom Preps for 2020 With Transcendental Meditation

I caught this article in my FINANCIAL NEWS email that is regularly sent to me.  Dr Doom is an economist who has been warning that America is in trouble if we don't change our borrowing habits.  He has been saying so for quite some time now.

What struck me is the fact that these high-profile folks are talking about Eastern Mysticism practices that they use.

Do you think the article would have reported a story about folks who read their Bibles and prayed to Jesus Christ for peace and calm?

Brian Koppelman, co-creator of Showtime’s “Billions,” was honest about his transcendental meditation practice as he spoke at a 15th anniversary celebration of the David Lynch Foundation.

“I’m not going to tell you anxiety completely disappears with TM," he said, pausing a beat before adding, “Donald Trump is the f---ing president.”

Koppelman fretted he might have insulted Trump donors with his comment Friday night at the Bridgehampton Tennis & Surf Club, but it was greeted with laughter, applause and a few yelps in a room that included Alan Patricof, Jon Patricof, Katie Couric, Orin Snyder, Fern Mallis, Nancy Chemtob and Anne Keating.

Plenty of guests had been chattering about the Democratic candidates they’re excited to meet in August. Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg were among those mentioned as headlining Hamptons fundraisers next month.

Nouriel Roubini, the economist, made it clear that defeating Trump in the 2020 election is a priority.

“If he wins again, we could have all the TM in the world, we’ll be depressed for the next six years,” Roubini said. “Some things can be resolved by TM, some things cannot.”

The transcendental meditation that the Lynch Foundation teaches has many benefits, according to Bob Roth, the group’s head. It can reduce cortisol levels more than a good night’s sleep, he said. It’s also helping veterans work through post-traumatic stress disorder; the foundation plans to expand the number of veterans it serves in the next year.

As for stress and anxiety around politics: Two years ago, the foundation opened an office in Washington with the aim of teaching TM to members of Congress, “because the country is more polarized than ever,” said Mark Axelowitz, the foundation’s vice chairman.

Axelowitz, a private-wealth manager and actor, decided to take up TM on Ray Dalio’s recommendation and meditates twice a day for 20 minutes at a time. In the Hamptons, he does it on the beach, focusing on the sound of the ocean. He has a 20-minute recording of the ocean that he plays when he’s back in the city or traveling.

“It has helped me stay calmer and, more importantly, think clearer,” Axelowitz said.

Federal Borrowing Soars

Remember when Obama was borrowing trillions and everyone was screaming that this would lead to a disaster?  Today no one even cares how much the Fed Gov’t borrows. We have all concluded that debt is just part of life, and spending beyond our means is just something that will always happen.  Just wait until the Fed Gov’t has to borrow using another currency besides the US Dollar. Then we will see how devastating the consequences are.

“City Killer” Asteroid Just Missed Us

Another outlet, CNET, likens the pass-by of Asteroid 2019 OK to having a “baseball [whistle] by your ear” as you walk down the street. The asteroid is about 330 feet wide and came within about 45,000 miles of Earth, one fifth the distance to the moon.

At its closest point, it would have been visible with binoculars, writes astronomer Michael Brown in the Conversation. “It snuck up on us pretty quickly,” Brown tells the Post. “People are only sort of realizing what happened pretty much after it’s already flung past us.”

Had the asteroid struck, it would have landed with the force of a large nuclear weapon, or about 10 megatons of TNT. Two astronomy teams picked up on its presence on Wednesday; Brown says the details about how big it was and where it was traveling were disseminated hours before it cruised past us.

So how did asteroid-trackers nearly miss it? Its size, for one thing. While big enough to cause lots of damage, 2019 OK is not that big in the grand scheme—nothing on the scale of the famous dinosaur-killer. So yes, it could be spotted with binoculars at its closest point, but “three days before that it was 1,000 times fainter, and thus harder to spot,” writes Brown.
