Russian Planes Buzz Alaska

During the Cold War with Russia the US and Russia were constantly testing each other's limits and defenses.  We would fly bomber jets toward their borders and they would do the same.

But when Cold War ended and the Berlin fell, we realized that the Soviet Union was bankrupt and had no further reasons to threaten the Free world.

So what exactly is Russia up to now?  What is their end game?

American and Canadian fighter planes scrambled to intercept two Russian TU-95 “Bear” bombers Thursday night, marking the fourth consecutive night of Russian probes near the Alaskan coast, U.S. defense officials said Friday.

At no point did the Russian aircraft cross into American or Canadian airspace, but the incursions into the Air Identification Zones — which extend beyond the territorial waters of the U.S. and Canada — represent a sharp increase in activity in the area, which has seen no Russian activity at all since 2015. The flights may also herald the return of Moscow’s 60-year-old nuclear capable bomber to the international stage, after the entire fleet was grounded in 2015 after a rash of accidents.

Over the past several years, Moscow has played a high-speed game of cat-and-mouse with U.S. and NATO aircraft and naval vessels in the Baltic and Black Seas regions, but this level of activity hasn’t been seen near Alaska since 2014, one defense official told FP.

It’s unclear what the overall objective of the Russian passes are, but they’re in keeping with tactics Russian pilots have employed in recent years in the Baltic and Black sea regions, where NATO pilots regularly intercept aircraft sent by the Kremlin to skirt the airspace of NATO countries.

Abortion Doctor Claims to Have a "Deep Christian Faith"

Jesus told us to watch out for wolves in sheep's clothing.  He warned that there would be people who claimed to be Christians but were actually wolves in sheep's clothing.

Today we read of an abortion doctor who claims to be a Christian.  Of course the liberal media love him.

Conservative blogger, Matt Walsh, points out the contradiction.

Mass murderer Willie Parker has been performing abortions for decades. He has filled hundreds of hazardous waste dumpsters with the dismembered bodies of unborn human beings, and made enormous profits doing so. Yet, in spite of the gallons of blood he has spilled and the thousands of women he has exploited, he still claims to be a “Christian.”  I should say, because of the death and the blood and the exploitation, Willie Parker calls himself a “Christian.” He contends not only that his faith permits the summary execution of babies, but that it actually calls him to it. As Time Magazine gushed, he is a man of “deep Christian faith,” and he expresses that faith by destroying human life for 500 bucks a pop.

Parker has now written a book outlining the “moral” and “Christian” case for killing innocent people, and the media has been happy to traipse him around as an example of one of the “good ones.” One of the normal and permissive Christians who testifies to a more rational faith — and by “rational” they mean a faith that happens to approve of everything they already think and do. “I’ve never read the Bible but I’m sure this interpretation is correct because it validates my lifestyle,” they say.

The “Christian” case for abortion that Parker has made in his book and in countless interviews with fawning media outlets is about as psychotic as you’d expect. He says that the Bible has nothing in it that could possibly be construed as condemning abortion. He says God clearly approves of abortion because He gave us free will, thus any choice we make is obviously good (except for the choice to oppose abortion, of course). Parker contends that abortion is “sacred,” just as sacred as, if not even more sacred than, the birth of a child. He claims that he is the “pro-life” one because he respects the life of the mother, unlike those crazy anti-abortion fruitcakes who oppress women by suggesting that they shouldn’t kill their kids.

I feel somewhat ridiculous even responding to this madness. Must a reasonable person lower himself to addressing the question of whether or not the murder of children is “sacred” and ordained by God? Well, yes, it appears he must. In this culture, the reasonable are forced to engage with increasingly unreasonable points of view. It’s a pain, but the only other option is to keep our mouths shut and let this blasphemous reprobate run around proclaiming his divine authority to crush baby skulls.

Endangered Species

I saw a story this morning of how the Manatees in Florida are now coming off the endangered species list.

That's great news!  Those animals are awesome and it would be a shame to have the behavior of man wipe them off the face of the earth.

Of course liberals seem to be the champions for protecting everything from butterflies to buffaloes and insisting that ALL LIFE HAS A RIGHT TO LIVE ON PLANET EARTH.

So why do you think they have such a massive delusion when it comes to killing millions of little babies?

Mother Of All Debt

Since last week there has been lots of talk about the Mother Of All Bombs (MOAB) that was recently dropped on ISIS in Afghanistan.

Today we are reading about MOAD...the Mother Of All Debt that may be getting ready to explode in America.

In honor of the Donald’s “Mother of All Bomb” (MOAB) attack on the Hindu Kush mountains Thursday, let me introduce MOAD.

I’m referring to the “Mother of All Debt” crises, of course. The opening round is coming when Washington goes into shutdown mode on April 28, which happens to be Day 100 of the Donald’s reign.

In theory, this should be just a routine extension of the fiscal year (FY) 2017 continuing resolution (CR) by which Congress is funding the $1.1 trillion compartment of government which is appropriated annually.

The remaining $3 trillion per year of entitlements and debt service is on automatic pilot, but the truth is Washington can’t agree on what to do about either component — except to keeping on borrowing to pay the bills.

There is a problem with this long-running game of fiscal kick-the-can, however. Namely, a 100 year-old statute requires Congress to raise the ceiling for treasury borrowing periodically, but the Imperial City has now reached the point in which there is absolutely no way forward to accomplish this.

Moreover, that critical fact is ill-understood by Wall Street because it does not remotely recognize that all the debt ceiling increases since the public debt exploded after the 2008-09 crisis were an accident of the Obama presidency.

That is, surrounded by Keynesian economic advisers and big spending Democratic politicians, he had no fear of the national debt at all and obviously even believed the more debt the better.

And Obama was also able to bamboozle the establishment GOP leadership led by former Speaker Boehner into steering enough GOP votes to the “responsible” course of action.

Needless to say, Obama is gone, Boehner is gone and the 17-month debt ceiling “holiday” that they confected in October 2015 to ride Washington through the election is gone, too. What’s arrived is vicious partisan warfare, a new President who is clueless about the urgency of the debt crisis and a bloc of 50 or so Freedom Caucus Republicans who now rule Washington.

And good for them!

They genuinely fear and loathe the banana republic financial profligacy that prevails in the Imperial City, and would rip the flesh from Speaker Ryan’s face were he to go the Boehner route and try to assemble a “bipartisan” consensus for a condition-free increase in the debt ceiling.

What that means is a completely new ball game in the Imperial City that will absolutely dominate the agenda as far as the eye can see. That’s because the Freedom Caucus will insist that sweeping entitlement reforms and spending cuts accompany any debt ceiling increase.

Even “moderate” Senator Rob Portman (Ohio) has legislation requiring that dollar for dollar deficit cuts accompany any increase in the debt ceiling.

But if you think the GOP fractures and fissures generated by Obamacare replace and repeal were difficult, you haven’t seen nothin’ yet. There is absolutely no basis for GOP consensus on meaningful deficit cuts, meaning that MOAD will bring endless starts, stops, showdowns and shutdowns, as the U.S. Treasury recurringly exhausts its cash and short-term extensions of its borrowing authority.

In the meanwhile, everything else — health care reform, tax cuts, infrastructure — will become backed-up in an endless queue of legislative impossibilities. Accordingly, there will be no big tax cut in 2017 or even next year. For all practical purposes Uncle Sam is broke and his elected managers are paralyzed.

The Treasury will be out of cash and up against a hard stop debt limit of $19.8 trillion in a matter of months. But long before that there will be a taste of the Shutdown Syndrome on April 28 owing to the accumulating number of “poison pill” “riders” to the CR.

A matter of months.....

We have said it for years now.....a nation can only KICK THE CAN down the road for so long.  At some point there will be a HARD STOP that will prevent us from borrowing billions every month to meet  our obligations.

At some point investors will start to doubt whether Uncle Sam will have the future ability to pay them back....and when that happens they will DEMAND more interest for them to hold that risk.

If America can't balance it's budget today while paying 1% interest on $20 trillion of debt....how do you suppose they will be able to get ahead of the game when investors start demanding 5% or 7% or more?

We have no idea WHEN this will happen.  But we know that it will.

Russia Moves Military to North Korea as World Prepares for War

Yes, I know that dramatic headlines sell newspapers.  I also know that 99.99% of Americans really have no way of verifying the veracity of ANY story....especially those coming to us from the other side of the world....BUT....with that being said, this headline is another doozie!

SPOTTED: Putin 'moves military forces' to North Korea border as world prepares for WAR

Russia has reportedly moved military vehicles towards the city, which is within striking distance of North Korea.

The dramatic move, unconfirmed by the Russian government, was spotted by residents in the border city and posted on social media.

This comes as North Korea warned that they are prepared for all-out war with the US, while China pleads for the two powers to back down from escalation.

Since the emergence of the Vladivostok footage, fears have grown that North Korea could become the trigger for a conflict involving the US, China and Russia. 

Both China and Russia consider North Korea as a necessary buffer state, which they need to keep stable for their own national security.

According to the reports, a military convoy of eight surface-to-air missiles, part of Russian Air Defence, were on the move. 

The S400 anti-aircraft missiles were moved to Vladivostok, where Vladimir Putin already has a major navy base.

North Korea has warned the US not to take provocative action, after holding a military parade that showed off new intercontinental and submarine-launched ballistic missiles.

Officials from the despotic regime have said that the country will "hit back with nuclear attacks" if necessary. 

There is mounting speculation that current leader Kim Jong-un will soon order a new nuclear test.

This comes after a US aircraft carrier group continues to move towards the region.

Fact Checking Obama's Phony Legacy

It is somewhat frustrating to watch the media swoon over Obama.  They cover him as if he is more of a god today than he was when he was in office!

Just today I saw a headline that said, "Obama takes picture of his wife on vacation and Social Media Loves it!"

But make no mistake, while Obama might be a "nice" man by the world's standards....he was the architect of some really wimpy decisions that are now all coming back to haunt us at the same time.

North Korea, Iran, Russia, Iraq, Syria, Benghazi just to name a few.

Of course we should totally expect the media to NOT REPORT on anything that tarnishes Obama's legacy....like chemical weapons in Syria....or Iran royally cheating on it's nuke deal while spending the billions of bribe dollars WE GAVE THEM to plan our very own demise.

The Washington Post’s fact-checker, Glenn Kessler, recently gave Susan Rice four Pinocchios for a false and misleading statement regarding Syria’s chemical weapons stockpile. But what is notable about this story is not that Rice lied. She has done that many times. Rather, the remarkable part of this story is that the Post took so long to wake up to this Obama administration falsehood.

After all, Kessler’s evidence that Syria still had a chemical weapons capability reaches back two years, to a period during President Obama’s tenure. Why not, then, issue a fact check sooner? In 2016, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper assessed that “Syria has not declared all the elements of its chemical weapons program.” In addition, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) reported in 2015 and 2016 that it was “finding traces of sarin and VX nerve agent at Syrian facilities that had not been declared to inspectors or previously visited.”

“The reality is that there were continued chemical-weapons attacks by Syria—and that U.S. and international officials had good evidence that Syria had not been completely forthcoming in its declaration and possibly retained sarin and VX nerve agent,” writes Kessler.

AIM’s Cliff Kincaid recently exposed how the left-wing, mainstream media are currently covering for Obama administration officials’ lies about Syria’s chemical weapons stockpile by noting that these officials had referred to “declared” stockpiles. This was sold as nuance. However, as Kincaid notes, then Secretary of State John Kerry said, “We struck a deal where we got 100 percent of the chemical weapons out.”

But The New York Times carried an article on April 9 by Peter Baker, which quoted Antony Blinken, former deputy secretary of state under then-President Barack Obama, as acknowledging that regarding chemical weapons, “We always knew we had not gotten everything, that the Syrians had not been fully forthcoming in their declaration.” In other words, this is further evidence that the Obama administration was lying about the success of their negotiations.

These are not complicated lies, and not based in nuance. The Obama administration misled the American people, and Bashar Assad’s apparent recent sarin gas attack has made this impossible to ignore. Arguably, the Post is not willingly covering Obama’s tarnished legacy. Rather, it has been backed into a corner by world events.

I say “apparent” because we have learned not to accept all reports from U.S. intelligence agencies as factually accurate. Whether we are talking about the fall of the Soviet Union, the existence of certain WMD in Iraq, the Islamic State as the Junior Varsity, or Russia “hacking” our presidential election with the goal of helping to elect Donald Trump as president, we know that intelligence can easily be politicized, or just plain wrong. In this case, there are analysts and talk-show personalities on the left and right who question why Bashar al-Assad would drop chemical weapons on civilians at this juncture in Syria’s civil war, and who want to see the evidence before accepting it as fact. Perhaps it was the jihadis, e.g., al Qaeda, ISIS or the Al-Nusra Front, who stood to gain if much of the world were to condemn Assad for this attack. Others argue that it was a “wag the dog” scenario, suggesting perhaps collusion between Trump and Putin. The Times rejects all of these theories.

The media have had, and will continue to have, a vested interest in preserving Obama’s foreign policy legacy. Yet Obama’s foreign policy failures could become more and more apparent over time, exposing how Obama diminished United States power into that of a paper tiger. Another stunning example was the administration’s response to the 2012 Benghazi attacks, where the military did not send military assets to combat the attack, but left the insufficiently protected personnel on the ground to deal with the terrorists. The administration claimed that they didn’t have time, or enough intelligence, to send in the armed forces. This is a preposterous lie. When will the mainstream media investigate these other scandals and flawed agreements? The Post should issue a fact check on these other pressing issues. Ample evidence already exists.

Friends, no man is going to save USA from the pickle we have put ourselves in.  USA will one day suffer the same fate as every nation whose people reject Jesus Christ.

It should not surprise us that a super-liberal like Obama would be worshiped by the atheists and "all religions lead to the same god" church goers.

So if you are also frustrated while reading the paper and watching the news, use your frustration to remind yourself to pray for Donald Trump and pray for America.  The fact that the godless people hate him is probably good evidence that he is on the right track.

Turkey Votes to Install a Dictator?

Most prophecy watchers believe that Gog of Magog is speaking of some dictator of present day Russia as we read Ezekiel 38.

However, some watchers believe that Gog of Magog may be a leader of Turkey.

Whether you believe he is from Russia or Turkey, both camps watch Turkey because Turkey is either going to LEAD the Last Days coalition OR it's going to be a key player with Iran as Russia leads them.

Today we find out that the Turks went to the voting booths and narrowly voted to give their President some broad and sweeping powers.

Not sure WHY you would vote to do this, but please remember that lots of things make ZERO SENSE when you are dealing with Muslim dominated countries.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan claimed to have won a major victory in the referendum to grant the presidency greater powers Sunday.

With 98% of the ballots counted, 51.3% of voters voted "Yes" to the reform, compared to 48.7% who voted "no."

Erdogan's supporters say that giving the presidency greater powers at the expense of the parliamentary system is necessary to modernize the country, while opponents view the reform as a power grab and an assault on democracy.

The opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) has already demanded a recount of 60% of the votes following the decision to accept unstamped ballot papers as valid unless they are proven to be invalid.

Deputy Prime Minister Veysi Kaynak said that the "Yes" vote was lower than expected despite being ahead.

The new system would concentrate the bureaucratic power in the hands of the president, aboloshing the role of the prime minister. Opponents fear that the reform could leave Erdogan in power until 2029.

Trump Says "No Choice" But to Prepare for WWIII

The "Wars and Rumors of War" file has been jammed with headlines this past decade.  And lately, it even seems to be getting worse.

Following North Korea’s failed missile launch over the weekend Mr Trump took to Twitter and hinted that the US is readying themselves for a possible strike against Kim Jong-un.

He tweeted: “Our military is building and is rapidly becoming stronger than ever before. Frankly we have no choice.”

The President’s comments comes as US military is building up around the Korean peninsula.

The Kim regime attempted a ballistic missile launch following a show of military muscle to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the North Korea’s founder Kim Il-sung.

The missile reportedly “blew up almost immediately” but the show of aggression sparked fears of war.

Mr Trump’s national security adviser, Lieutenant General HR McMaster, has warned “all our options are on the table” as he said the situation in North Korea was “coming to a head”.

Mr McMaster added: "This latest missile test just fits into a pattern of provocative and destabilising and threatening behaviour on the part of the North Korean regime.

"We are working together with our allies and partners and with the Chinese leadership to develop a range of options.

As the article alludes to, the North Korean missile test was a failure just a few days ago when the missile blew up soon after launch.

This is GOOD NEWS because it gives us a hint that North Korea has not advanced enough to put a miniaturized nuke on a missile and launch it into America....BUT....they may already have the capability to put a small nuke on a medium range missile and send it someplace devastating.

Yes, if North Korea attempts to send missiles into a US Military Base in Japan....all hell will break loose.

Would he dare do that??

Umm....please remember that Kim Jong Un believes himself to be a god and demands that people worship his dead ancestors and him.  He also rounded up lots of citizens who didn't cry hard enough at his Father's funeral and killed them or shipped them off to labor camps to be worked and starved until they die.

A dude like that is capable of ANYTHING because he is filled with DELUSION.
