Rosh Hashanah Starts Today, so Don’t Be Surprised

 Paul told us that the Last Days would fall on people like the flood fell on the people of Noah’s day…like a thief in the night.  And then he goes on to say to fellow believers, “But you, brothers and sisters, will not be surprised!”

Would any of us be surprised if the trumpet blew at any minute?  Haven’t we all been watching and waiting for Jesus to come for us for years?

Let’s remember then, that the Feast of Trumpet starts today.  Since Jesus fulfilled the 4 Fall Feasts to the letter at His first advent, it would be reasonable to live the next few days and nights with anticipation that Jesus COULD come during the Feast of Trumpets and fulfill this feast as well.  

“With the trumpet call of God and the voice of the archangel”.  Jesus gives a shout and says “come up here!”  And we will all be transformed in the twinkling of an eye and meet Jesus is the clouds where we will be with him forever!  Encourage each other with these words!

What Does it Mean to Fear God?

 My daily Bible reading has me in Proverbs today where we come upon yet another verse about “fear of the Lord.”  That actual phrase appears 25 times in the Bible but if you open it up to the words of “fear God”, or other phrases that refer to the same thing, the count goes up to as many as 300!

That tells us that we can be certain that fearing God with our awe and respect is vitally important in our relationship with our Creator.  Remembering that we are tiny, little, sinful and wretched, frail human beings and God is the Creator of us and everything around us, is a good starting point on fearing God.

What’s wrong with America today and why does there seem to be so much mayhem, lawlessness and delusional thinking happening here?

Answer;  ask yourself how many Americans woke up today and started their day off with prayers to God and live their days out maintaining a healthy fear of the Lord?  Not many.

A good, healthy fear of God has a noticeable impact on your life. It affects your view of God and of yourself. There are a few key ways that your view of God changes when you have a healthy fear of Him:

1. Your view of God’s trustworthiness grows.

Recognizing God’s power and might leads to increased trust in Him. God makes a lot of promises in the Bible, and you can trust Him to fulfill them because He has the power to ensure they happen.

2. You see God as more worthy of your worship.

A healthy fear of God leads to a deeper level of worship. Recognizing His power and holiness naturally leads to praise. In the same way you can’t help but be amazed at massive mountains or expansive ocean views, the awe and power of God motivates wonder and worship.

Your view of yourself changes in some powerful ways as well.

3. Fear of God leads to humility.

As understanding of God’s power and magnitude grows, so does recognition of your own lack of power and magnitude. It is humbling to realize how much smarter, wiser, bigger and more powerful God is than you could ever hope to be.

4. Fear of God reduces anxiety.

Anxiety often comes from feeling out of control in life. A healthy fear of God allows you to recognize that God has always been the one in control. It allows you to turn over your fears of losing control to Him and trust He can handle things.

The Bible is clear when it comes to the fear of God. It’s the natural and right response to the power of God. But it is also clear that the wrong kind of fear is unhealthy. When fear is properly applied, it leads to some powerful changes.

Minneapolis Seems to be at the Center of Godless Activity

As we have said numerous times, Jesus speaks about the condition on earth and clearly says it will be business as usual when the rapture happens.  Planting, building, eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage but yet clueless about how close judgment actually is.

Minneapolis/St. Paul hosted the State Fair this year and for family entertainment decided to have men dressed in flaunting clothing moving about in highly sexualized routines.  Minnesota nice seems to have morphed into Minneapolis clueless.

 As those who read this column know, I believe a primary prophecy that describes the very moment the Lord Jesus Christ will call all believers into the clouds of Glory is wrapped in the following Scripture passage given by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself:

“Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed” (Luke 17:28–30).

Jesus was so intimately involved with the fate of the city of Sodom that He made this a cornerstone foretelling about His next “revealing” of Himself. He said the people and circumstances, the social and cultural environs of that moment when He next intervenes catastrophically into the affairs of humankind, will be just like Lot’s circumstances and times when God removed Lot and his family, then totally destroyed Sodom.

We’ve looked many times at just how wicked our current times are, with anti-God activity the norm rather than aberrant, in many cases. We have looked specifically at the characteristic of the days we’re now living in as being very similar to the days in which Lot lived in Sodom.

There is no doubt that the characteristic that had grown to the most pronounced extent—the most egregious to God—was homosexuality.

Remember that the angels, in the form of men, were threatened by the raging homosexual men who surrounded Lot’s home. God removed Lot and those of his household just as the providentially blinded homosexual men were about to invade the house.

Jesus tells us through the Luke 17:28–30 account that things will be like this when the world will see Him “reveal” Himself. It will be with the rescue we’ve come to know as the Rapture of the Church—all born-again believers in Jesus Christ for salvation.

Evidence is mounting, without question, that the homosexual invasion continues.

It seems to me that, like other proliferating anti-God things taking place in the US these days, the homosexual assault is manifesting in Minnesota, specifically in Minneapolis.

Here is a news story that presents growing evidence of these Sodom-like days.

According to the Minnesota State Fair’s schedule, POWER: Drag Revue will perform multiple times on Aug. 27 and 28 on state fairgrounds.

The fair schedule says, “POWER: Drag Revue is a high-energy drag performance showcase celebrating the artistry, creativity and diversity of Minnesota’s drag community.”

Drag shows, which feature men dressed as women, have been continuously mainstreamed in recent years. Earlier this year, a drag performance was held inside Minneapolis City Hall, which was reportedly the first time such an event had been held there.

According to Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, POWER: Drag Revue is a “BIPOC-focused musical sketch” formed after George Floyd’s death that has a “goal of expanding opportunities in the Twin Cities for historically underrepresented queer performers and artists.”

POWER: Drag Revue depicts its performers in exaggerated, garish representations of women. Several images on that page show apparent drag performers in revealing, sexualized outfits…

Since news of the drag shows broke earlier this week, the planned performances have faced backlash. Republican state Rep. Mary Franson reacted to a news story about the drag shows, saying, “Gross.”

Former state Rep. Jeremy Munson, a current candidate for Minnesota Senate, mentioned the drag shows in a list of fair events and said, “The State Fair is no longer a place we look forward to attending, and it continues in the direction of not being welcoming to families.” (“Planned drag show performances at Minnesota State Fair face backlash,” by Rachel Rossum, Alpha News MN, August 21, 2026)

Promoters of the show claim it’s all in good fun, and children, especially, should be brought to see the “delightful” performances, as men, prancing about in revealing, highly sexualized feminine attire entertain the crowds.

My imagination goes to those days in Sodom—and likely in Gomorrah, too—when such “delightful” performances surely must have entertained the crowds. We certainly have no trouble understanding what the God of Heaven thinks about such activity.

They are just now beginning, through digs at the south end of the Dead Sea, to find vestiges of what’s left of those twin cities. And it comes to mind, coincidentally, that the cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul are known in their duality, are they not? The twin cities are more and more at the center of homosexual and other wickedness that has been lately reported.

Now this is not meant to in any way besmirch the people of Minneapolis/St. Paul. There are many who protest against what is happening there in terms of anti-God activity.

But we must be alert to what’s going on as a spreading, cancerous sin that threatens to infect American culture and societies in ways that bring God’s judgment upon any people who embrace ways of life symbolized by these effeminate displays by the homosexual influencers.

Here is what God’s Word has to say about such matters of ungodly activity:

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

While not meaning to cast aspersions on the people of those twin cities, I must say that this area of our nation seems increasingly to embody the modern incarnation of the twin cities of Sodom and Gomorrah – as America, to me, seems more and more to take on the characteristics of the Babylon of Revelation chapter 18.

The answer to stopping this downward movement through anti-God comportment, of course, is prayer and repentance – prayer by each of us, individually, who are Christians—for the people of America to repent and turn back to God and godliness.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Beef Herd in America in Serious Decline

 Why is this story prophetic?  Because it goes right in line with what Jesus said would exemplify the very Last Days.  Drought, FAMINE, earthquakes, wars, lovers of self, love for others gone cold.  

America loves beef.  But how do you raise cattle on ranches where the land is worth $millions by development prices but only worth a fraction of that by “grass pasture” prices?  And how do you feed cattle when the grass is gone from drought and hay has to be trucked in from hundreds of miles away using trucks burning $6 gallon diesel fuel?  It simply doesn’t work and folks are selling cattle herds.  This makes the problem worse for next year because the cows that were having calves have been ground up for ground beef.  And it takes years to rebuild a herd because a heifer doesn’t have her first calf til she’s 2 years old, and once that calf hits the ground it takes 18 months to turn that newborn calf into a butcher-ready steer.  So even if there was a rancher who said, “I’m going to keep my heifers cuz I have the feed and room for them”, that decision still requires 3 1/2 years before it adds beef to the supply chain.

Friends, just add up all the dire warnings that are happening for America and the world.  It becomes hard to NOT see that all the signs are converging at once.

Remember the words of Jesus;  “When you see ALL THESE THINGS beginning to happen, then look up!  Your redemption is near.”

Major News Outlets Report That AI Could Kill All Humans in Next Decade

 We’ve said it for years.  It’s not going to take AI very long to figure out that humans are the core problem of everything that ails planet earth.  The murderers, rapists, thieves, drug addicts, drunk drivers, child molesters, etc…are ALL humans.  And worst of all, the folks doing all the global warming, destroying our planet, are ALL humans.  Then throw Satan and his demons into the machine and you have a recipe for an “end of the world” scenario.

Today we watch ABC news report that an AI insider is saying that AI could kill all humanity in the next decade.  So the reports of Satan’s work are making it to the pages of 5:30 national news!  But only those with eyes to see can understand what is happening.  Most folks watching have no fear of the Lord and have rejected their Creator so have been given over to foolish and futile thinking, so they have no way of understanding how this story fits into the age in which we are living.

Third Temple Will Be Built Says Israeli Politician

 Chatter about the Temple being built continues.  This is one more HUGE sign that we are in the very last of the last days.  Antichrist will enter this Temple 3.5 years after confirming peace agreement and declare the He is god.  Jesus tells the Jews who see this happen to “run”.

In a pre-election Q&A session, a questioner posed something Israeli politicians rarely answer directly: what happens to the mosque on the Temple Mount when the Third Temple rises? Speaking to supporters this week, Zehut chairman Moshe Feiglin answered without flinching.

Feiglin, who founded Zehut in 2015 after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blocked his advancement inside Likud, has spent three decades building a political identity around Jewish sovereignty and rejection of the Oslo Accords. He has called the accords something to throw “into the trash bin of history.” On September 1, he signed a joint Knesset list with Religious Zionism chairman Bezalel Smotrich, taking the No. 2 slot ahead of the October 27 election, after Zehut spent years polling below the electoral threshold on its own.

Asked how the mosque on the Temple Mount would ever open up to make room for the Temple, Feiglin gave his full answer, translated here in its entirety:

“The Zehut party will not build the Third Temple. Am Yisrael [the nation of Israel] will build the Third Temple. The Third Temple will not be built by some accidental majority, at midnight, in some Knesset committee. Am Yisrael will build it because an entirely new consciousness will descend and envelop all of us. I believe the Third Temple will be built ish echad b’lev echad — as one man, with one heart — when we all want it. This will no longer be a partisan matter. Because if it becomes a partisan matter, it won’t be something that lasts. So no — Zehut isn’t the one who will build the Temple. Am Yisrael will build it.

“What about the mosque? I believe the Arabs will vacate it. I truly believe this. I really, truly believe this. I believe we will reach a point where the entire world will want to see the Temple built.

“In the consciousness we’re in right now, this sounds far-fetched, impossible. But we’ve seen how quickly things can change. Why will it happen? Because it is written in the Torah — just as it was written in the Torah — that we would return to our land after nearly two thousand years, and that was the most far-fetched thing in the world. The most far-fetched thing in the world, far more so than building the Temple. And that came true too. That came true too.”

Most Churches Don’t Teach Prophecy Because it’s Tertiary

 Is prophecy really not all that important? Is it really too controversial?  Friends, we ARE the folks who are witnesses to the rebirth of Israel, the explosion of knowledge/technology, the explosion of jet travel, we understand the 70 weeks of Daniel that no one understood for the last 2500 years…we should be shouting it from the rooftops!  Our blessed hope is that Jesus is coming soon.  Why are so few talking about it?

The general assumption in many Bible-believing churches is that Bible prophecy is far too controversial and divisive for it to be taught. A few churches in my area openly state on their websites that the subject is “tertiary,” or less important than other matters of our faith.

Sadly, most pastors and believers agree that Bible prophecy is tertiary, which Merriam-Webster defines as “of third rank, importance, or value.” The underlying assumption is that Scripture is less clear on this topic than other matters of the faith. Although most Christians accept this assertion as fact, it’s blatantly false.

Beliefs about the Rapture, the seven-year Tribulation, Israel’s restoration, and the Millennium rest on how one interprets God’s Word rather than on the words of the Bible. This is not only true in matters related to eschatology, the study of future things, but also in all matters of our faith.

For example, we readily accept the unmistakable clarity of the Lord’s words in John 14:6: “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” Yet I know of many professing Christians who read this verse and yet claim that Jesus is not the only path to salvation. In some circles, the words of John 14:6 are far more contentious than our belief in the pre-Tribulation Rapture. Even when it comes to the gospel, many Christians do not accept the face-value meaning of the words.

The Unbiblical Basis of Replacement Theology

As for Israel’s place in Bible prophecy, what one believes is shaped by assumptions formed apart from the biblical text.

For example, Augustine, an early church theologian, popularized Replacement Theology in the early fifth century AD. His belief that the church had replaced Israel in God’s prophetic program didn’t arise from the words of Scripture, but rather from his deep-seated antisemitism and acceptance of Platonism. He adhered to many of the beliefs of the ancient philosopher Plato, who taught that all matter was evil and only the unseen spiritual world was good. Hence, there could be no Millennium despite the clarity of Revelation 20:1-10.

To make God’s Word fit his errant beliefs, Augustine allegorized texts in which the Lord promised to restore a kingdom to Israel. He reinterpreted future Bible prophecy as allegory, a story with deeper hidden meanings whereby the characters, events, and settings in such narratives symbolize truths without stating them directly.

Augustine’s approach to prophetic texts directly contradicts what God said long ago.

“I am God, and there is none like me,
declaring the end from the beginning
and from ancient times things not yet done,
saying, “My counsel shall stand,
and I will accomplish all my purpose” (Isaiah 46:9C-10).

Do those words sound like Someone who would reveal the future in allegories, which by their nature depend on human wisdom to understand?

When we allow the words of Scripture to signify what they meant when the authors recorded them, it confirms that the Lord will restore a kingdom to Israel, just as He repeatedly promised throughout His Word. It verifies that the church is not the fulfillment of God’s kingdom promises.

The Bible Is Clear About Israel’s Restoration

As for Israel’s future, Jeremiah 33:14-16 is just one example of well over a hundred Old Testament references that clearly and unmistakably prophesy Israel’s still-future restoration:

“Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will fulfill the promise I made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah. In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch to spring up for David, and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell securely. And this is the name by which it will be called: ‘The Lord is our righteousness.’”

If these words mean what they did when the Lord spoke them, and they do, they must refer to a future time of restoration for the nation of Israel. We know that since the days of Jeremiah to today, there has never been a time when they were true. The only other alternative to that of regarding the above passage as prophetic of Israel’s future is to reinterpret it as part of a grand narrative in which God was actually talking about the church (which did not even exist at the time), not Israel. Or, possibly ignore that such texts exist.

The Bible Is Clear About the Rapture

God’s Word is also remarkably clear about the Rapture. Consider the following verses also from John 14, where Jesus said this about His return to take us home:

“In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also” (John 14:2-3).

Based on all we know about the meaning of the above words and the Galilean marriage customs of the first century AD, of which the disciples were well aware, it’s clear that Jesus was prophesying of a time when He would come and take us to an actual physical location in His “Father’s house.” Paul later wrote that when Jesus appears, we go to glory (Colossians 3:4). Why do so many believers assign clarity to Jesus’ words in John 14:6 while denying His clear intent in 14:2-3?

Although widely ridiculed and dismissed as far too controversial to discuss in church, the New Testament says much about the event we call the “Rapture.” It is a sound biblical doctrine.

Sadly, the assertion that Bible prophecy is tertiary has caused considerable damage within the body of Christ. Among other things, it has blinded believers to the abundance of signs signifying that we live in the last moments of the last days. Silence about all eternal realities in churches today has shifted many believers’ focus to temporary, earthbound aspirations that offer no hope for the perilous times in which we now live and no comfort for the tribulations of life in this vale of tears.

Man Duct Taped on Flight 618 Was Sitting Next to Jonathan Cahn!

What the media won’t tell you is WHO this guy was sitting next to and WHAT they were talking about.  Rabbi Cahn tells the whole story at video link below.

It started as a friendly conversation about Rabbi’s new book about the Satanic Throne of Pergamon.  The guy was very polite and friendly for first part of conversation but as Cahn began sharing the Gospel the man instantly changed.  He started swearing and saying crazy things.  Ultimately the passengers subdued him and taped him to his seat with duct tape and the plane made an emergency landing to get him removed and arrested.

Did the man already have demons or did they come into him as they tried to attack Cahn?

How Jesus Reveals the Last Hour of the Very Last Days
